MEREDITH: Every cell in the human body regenerates, on average every seven years. Like snakes, in our own way, we shed our skin. Biologically, we're brand new people. We may look the same. We probably do. The change isn't visible, at least not in most of us. But we're all changed. Completely. Forever.

CALLIE: I need to see my baby.

CRISTINA: She's mostly tubes and wires. And she looks more like a chicken than a baby. Like a featherless, breakless chicken. You want to wait until she's cuter.

CALLIE: You're the worst godmother ever.

CRISTINA: You picked me.

MEREDITH:(zu Derek) Yesterday at that baby shower, I was jealous of Callie because she got pregnant without trying. And we tried. I get shots, I take my temperature, I put my legs in the air, and nothing. The universe says "srew you, Meredith" and gives Callie a kid and then puts Callie through a windshield. I mean, what the hell is going on? What's the point?

JUDGE: Grey and Shepherd?

DEREK: That'd be us.

JUDGE: I need to see some ID. Ok, this seems to be in order, I'll jump right in. We are here today to participate in a marital union...

CRISTINA: Dr. Altman, ich würde mich gerne entschuldigen. Es tut mir leid, dass ich bei Callies OP über Ihren Kopf hinweg entschieden und Sie damit in eine schwierige Lage gebracht habe. Es tut mir leid. Ich entschuldige mich.

TEDDY: Sagst du das, weil du es so meinst, oder weil du wieder mit mir arbeiten möchtest?

CRISTINA: Spielt das wirklich eine Rolle?!

TEDDY: Ja tut es!

MARK: Ich würde gerne noch etwas Brot haben.

COLONEL: Was macht der Samenspender hier? Ich dachte, dass wäre ein Familien - Dinner?

TEDDY: (zu Henry) Du bist mein Ehemann und ich glaube, ich verliebe mich gerade in Dich!

CRISTINA: Ich möchte keine Mutter werden.

OWEN: Cristina, liebst du mich?

CRISTINA: Natürlich tue ich das!

OWEN: Und vertraust du mir?

CRISTINA: Ja.

OWEN: Du wirst eine großartige Mutter. Ich weiß, du glaubst mir nicht, aber es ist wahr. Denk einfach darüber nach - die furchtabre Idee, dass du dein Baby lieben könntest, mir zu liebe...

CRISTINA: Hast du mir etwa nicht zugehört?! Warum sollte ich das tun?

MEREDITH: I don't think that things are simply right or wrong. Things are more complicated than that. It's complicated that it was Adele and Richard. It's complicated that we have a drug in a box that could help her. Ther's nothing simple about that. I am very sorry that i messed everything up, but I would do it again.

DEREK: I don't know how to raise a child with someone who doesn't understand that there's a right and wrong in the world.

MEREDITH: So, now I'm gonna be a bad mother. That's where we're going with this?

DEREK: You've been saying it for weeks. Maybe you're right...

MEREDITH: Thre's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell appart, I might not make it. Itˋs easier to be alone. Because what if you learn taht you need love and then you don't have it? What if you like it, and learn on it? What if you shape your life around it, and then it falls appart?

Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is, death ends. This? It could go on forever...
