• Jughead outing himself to his girlfriend as being asexual and... well, things don't go too well
• Idk how to phrase it but tw ahead, ace-phobia
• Self harm
• alcoholism
• Abandonment and self image issues
• Ngl, we got stingy eyes every time that we've written or read a bit in this Oneshot or read it cause damn- this is just our pure fear, once we would be in a relationship-

Betty and Jughead got together at the start of Junior year. There have been a few problems between them but never something that couldn't be solved. Perhaps that was also only because Jughead hadn't told her the whole truth yet. Betty had been giving hints of taking the next step, increasing in their obviousness over time, for the past months. Jughead always found a excuse though, he was not comfortable with that yet. He didn't want to see her naked. He didn't want her to strip for him. He didn't want to take a shower together with her. He didn't want to sleep naked next to her either.

Jughead was asexual and uncomfortable by the idea of anything close to sleeping with his girlfriend. However, he couldn't tell her that. He couldn't tell her that without making it awkward and causing them to split apart. He didn't want to be single again, not because of this silly little thing.

He could make it work, he was sure of that.

(These abandoning issues really aren't doing great right now, huh, honey?)

"Hey, are you even listening to me?" Archie asked, waving in front of his face. Jughead blinked, looking around. Everything seemed normal. The two were sitting in a booth at Pops, supposedly to catch up a bit.

"Mhm? Yeah, totally agree"

"And to what?" Archie asked and Jughead sighed.

"Okay, you got me. I totally spaced out, sorry" Archie nodded and started talking, probably about football or something. Jughead didn't necessarily listen to it. He was up all night, so he could barely keep his eyes open and having to listen to a topic that didn't interest him at all was tiring.

His phone vibrating woke him up again. He groaned and turned it around to look who texted him.

Betty: Hey, I found something...
Betty: Maybe you're up for trying it tonight?
Betty: I will send you the link
Betty: *link*
Betty: Also, V and I went shopping. I bought some underwear too. Maybe you'd like to see it?

Jughead made the mistake of clicking on the link. Thankfully, his volume was down to zero before he tapped the link — otherwise it would have been really embarrassing for him right now. That video was not supposed to be played in a diner.

"Oh my- Eww. What the heck-" Jughead yelled, throwing his phone down before turning it off. Archie blinked, mouth frozen

"What's wrong?"

"Betty just send me a link to a video"

"And?"

"A video-video, Archie"

"Oh. Could I see-?"

"Absolutely not!"

"Just a sec-"

"No"

"Alright... then no peeking" Archie rolled his eyes "But since she's still sending you 'ideas', I'm guessing that you haven't told her yet?"

"Told her what?"

"That you're asexual, dude. That you don't want any of this stuff"

"Well, how am I supposed to do so, Archie? Do you really think that Betty is going to stay with me and not want to go back to you, once she finds out that I can't give her like... anything that you were able to give her? I mean, I can't give her fame. She can't watch me get sweaty, while playing football on the field and win the hearts of everyone. I can't write songs for her because I can't sing nor can I play any instrument at all. I can't give her the... you know, either. I'm a shit boyfriend, Archie, okay? And I honestly don't know how to fix that, so I might as well-"
