CHAPTER FIFTEEN - SOUND AND FURY

𝓣𝚁𝙴𝙽𝚃

I WAS AT A PARK with Dacoda as we passed a green and black soccer ball between each other. I was wearing a black hoodie. "So Nate's looking for a new assistant?" I questioned.

"Yeah. He also found some way to combine your Ranger forms. I've been helping him on that while he works on the Cheetah Claws for Devon." Dacoda replied.

I stopped the soccer ball with my foot before picking it up. "Let's walk, yeah?" I suggested. Dacoda just nodded as we began walking around.

"So I heard from Aiden that you're having weird dreams about Dino statues. You want to tell me about it?" I asked.

Dacoda shrugged. "I don't think it's a big deal. But it's not only me. I'm with three other people, but their faces are blurred out, so I don't know who they are. But they morph into Rangers too. Red, Blue, and Pink." He explained.

"Their faces are blurred out? That means they're people that Coda has yet to meet." I think to myself. "Could it be another Ranger team? But that could only mean something else comes to threaten the Earth. I guess evil never sleeps."

"You look like something's bothering you, Trent." Dacoda pointed out, making me look down at him.

"Sorry. I've just been thinking. When we do eventually defeat Evox, what does that mean for me? I mean, with the Ninja Steel Rangers, sure they got their Power Stars back, but they still have normal lives. I'm just afraid that—"

"When this Evox creep is gone, you won't know what to do next because being a Ranger is all you've ever known?" Dacoda finished.

"Gee, Nate was right about you easily reading people." I stated while sighing. "And yeah, you're right. The first time I met the Ninja Steel Rangers was by complete accident. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I met them. I reunited with Brody and Aiden. But I'm just afraid I won't know life outside of being a Ranger."

"I'm sure you'll be fine. Besides, you can't be a Ranger all the time. Let someone else worry about protecting the Earth." Dacoda reassured me.

"You know, you're very smart for a thirteen year old."

"I hang around with Nate a lot, what do you expect?"

"Okay, fair point."

That's when my wrist comm suddenly beeped. "Looks like duty calls." I hummed before Dacoda and I headed out of the park.

Dacoda went back to base while I met up with Devon, Ravi, and Steel. We were eventually joined by Nate and Zoey. "The Commander said the alert came from this plaza." Steel informed.

"Robotron!" Ravi exclaimed as I looked up to see Tubatron, making me confused.

"Hey, that looks just like the last one." Devon pointed out.
