I wake up to the sound of a guitar strumming softly.
I blink my eyes open, groaning at the bright lights.
Slash smiled at me, from the end of the bed, his guitar in his lap.
He's still wearing the same clothes and his curly hair is messy... well messier than usual.
"Morning sunshine." he says, his voice sounding like he just woke up.
I grumble and lift the blanket up above my head. "Wake up Rosie! It's time to get up! You also gotta clean my room since you made a mess." Slash says, pulling the blanket away from me.
I hiss at him, slapping his hand away.
"C'mon Ax." he says, trying to tickle me from outside of the blanket.
"Stop it fucker!" I yell, pushing him away.
He laughs and starts to play Sweet Child O' Mine's intro riff.
"Get up Ax!" he screeches, his guitar wailing.
I groan and sit up, my head instantly hurting. "Oh fuck." I mumble, gently touching my head. "Hangovers fuckin' suck."
I groan, combing through my hair and whining softly.
Slash smiles, searching for his Advil.
He hands me two pills and I immediately swallow them.
Slash raises an eyebrow.
"No water?" he asks, gently strumming chords on his guitar.
I shake my head no.
"No need." I reply, getting out of bed and stretching.
I search for my shirt, which Slash hands to me and I put it on.
"What do we have today?" I ask, stretching my arms out.
"Mmm nothing I think?" Slash replies, his eyebrows knitting together.
I smile ruffling his hair.
"Aw Slashies thinking. Don't hurt your head now buddy." I say, patting his head and moving away to avoid his hit.
I walk out of Slash's room, searching for the kitchen.
"Where are you going?" Slash asks, peeking out from his room.
"The kitchen. I'm fucking starving." I respond, searching for the kitchen.
Slash sighs, walking to me and rolling his eyes. He then grabs my hand and takes me down the hall to the kitchen.
I'm stunned at first so I don't say anything.
He brings me into the kitchen, as we stand still for a moment.
I look down at our hands.
My heart beats a little faster.
Slash notices our hands and drops them.
I walk away, unsure of what to do or say.
I look through the mini fridge and find nothing appealing.
I look through Slash's cereal selection, on the counter beside the fridge, and pick one up, smiling.
"Lucky Charms? Really?" I ask, laughing softly. Slash smiles, taking them from me and setting them back.
"I always carry them around in case Popcorn decides to drop by. He usually does when he gets drunk and he always wants Lucky Charms." Slash responds, pushing his hair away from his eyes.
I met his eyes for the first time in forever.
I had forgotten how beautiful his big brown eyes were.
I turn away and look at the other food options. "Is this all you've got?" I ask, looking back at Slash.
"Mhm." he responds, yawning.
I groan softly, before pushing a strand of hair out of my eyes.
"You know what? Let's just go out." I suggest, smiling brightly.
"Alright, fine. But first, you gotta take a shower. You smell." he snickers, scrunching up his nose.
I roll my eyes and leave to walk towards my room to get my stuff.
I pull out a Zeppelin shirt, that I stole from Slash, and some tight leather pants.
I grab a new pair of boxers and walk towards the bathroom.
"Gimme fifteen minutes then we can head out." I say, shutting the door behind me.
"Mkay." I hear Slash respond, from wherever he is.
I don't bother locking the door, as I set all my new clothes on the counter.
I search through the contents underneath the sink and pull out shampoo, conditioner and a body wash bar.
I set my shower items in the shower and start to take off my clothes, throwing them onto the floor.
I look down at myself, proud of how my body looks.
It took a while but I liked it.
I trace a finger around my Appetite For Destruction tattoo, admiring the colors and designs.
It had to have been my favorite tattoo.
It had the most detail and was of course based off of our first album.
It meant the most to me.
I sigh softly, and turn the shower on, putting the knob in the middle, the water shooting out a nice medium.
It wasn't too cold and it wasn't too hot.
I step into the shower and close the curtain.
The sensation of the water hitting my skin sends shivers up and down my body.
I don't know what it was about little things like that, but it always made me feel something. Something like pleasure, but not pleasure.
It made me feel human.
It reminded me I was real and everything around me was real.
Sometimes I lost sight of that and needed a little reminder.
I push my hair back with my hands, soaking it up completely.
I grab the body wash bar and hold it underneath the water stream for a moment.
I step away from the water and rub the bar across my body.
The smell instantly hits my nose, it's strong scent already staining my skin.
I glide it up and down my arm before moving it to my chest.
I carefully rub it around my pierced nipple, knowing how sensitive it could be.
I glide the bar to my other arm, loving the soft feeling of it touching my skin.
I don't know why I liked it so much, it just felt different from the rough life I was used to living. It felt like that warm blanket wrapping around you on a cold day, or the soft touch of a loved one.
I continue to clean myself, setting the bar down once I'm done.
I move back under the water, the soft soap running down my body.
I rub my hands against my body, pushing the soap off.
Once I'm done, I grab the shampoo and squirt a generous amount onto my hand.
I rub it together and start to massage it into my hair.
The smell is lighter than the body wash, but I know my hair will smell like it for a while.
It wasn't my usual shampoo, most likely being one of Slash's, which usually smelt like something sweet and clean or musky.
The shampoo smells like a generic shampoo brand.
I don't mind it, as long as it does a good job.
I clean off my hair, repeating the process twice.
I rub my scalp softly, shutting my eyes as the water ran over my face.
Once the soap is gone, I rub my eyes gently and blink them open.
I breathe in the smell of the shower.
It smelt like a mixture of clean scents mixing with the warm scent of the water.
I grab the conditioner, which was mine considering it was a soft pink and had roses around it, and place a small amount onto my palm.
I rub my fingers through my hair, trying to comb through knots, while the conditioner softened it. My hair begins to soften, my fingers gliding through it easily.
I lean my head back, my hair being captured under the water.
My hair falls down above my ass, surprising me for how long it was.
I once again grab the soap bar and rub it against the front of my neck and my face.
I shut my eyes, feeling the soap soften my face. My lips sting from the soap, as I spit it away.
I wash off my neck and face, the water cooling off my skin.
I stay in the shower for a little longer, soaking up as much of the warmth as I could, before turning it off.
I pull open the curtain and search for a towel. The shelves were empty, and there was nothing underneath the cabinet.
"Fuck." I mutter, walking towards the door and cracking it open.
"Slash!" I call out, water droplets dripping onto the tile floors.
"Yeah?" Slash calls back, his voice sounding close.
"Can you get me a towel? Please!" I answer, grabbing a hand towel and trying to ring my hair out.
Slash opens the door, walking in with a towel on his hands.
"Slash!" I yell out, embarrassed, trying to cover my lower waist.
Slash blushes, looking away.
"Sorry." he says, flustered, handing me the towel, and turning away to leave.
"Thanks." I say, wrapping the towel around my shoulders.
"Mhm." he mutters, shutting the door behind him.
I rub the soft towel against my arms, the water droplets getting soaked into the fabric.
I shiver slightly, feeling the awkward tension from Slash walking into the bathroom.
I take the towel and rub my upper body, and then wrap it around my lower waist.
I walk towards the counter and search for my brush.
I find it under the cabinet, a shirt that smelled heavily of weed over it.
I brush my hair, watching as the water dripped off of the ends.
Once my hair smoothed out, I take the hand towel and wrap it around my hair, making an overly small turban wrap.
I grab my boxers and remove the towel from a round my waist.
I put the towel over my shoulders, and slide my boxers up my legs.
I unwrap my hair, and fluff it out, throwing the towel into the corner of the bathroom.
I put my pants on, throwing away the towel and sliding on my Zeppelin shirt.
It was a little too big, and ended up going under my ass, and almost halfway down my thigh.
I leave the bathroom, running back to my room to get socks.
I search for a pair and pull out a short black sock and a long gray sock.
I put them on, my feet instantly feeling warm.
I search for my combat boots, and end up finding them in Slash's room.
"Slash?" I call out, leaning against the door frame to put my boots on.
"What?" Slash calls back, from wherever the hell he was.
"Will ya come here? I'm fuckin' starving! Let's go get food!" I yell back, walking towards the door. Slash walks towards the door, a smug smile on his face.
"What?" I ask, already annoyed.
"You look so cute wearing my shirt." he says, giggling.
"Oh fuck you." I punch his arm, opening the door and walking down the hallway.
I can hear Slash's stupid laugh, following me down the hallway.
"I'm sorry, I had to say it." Slash says, when he catches up to me.
"Mhm." I mumble, exiting the building.
The two of us walk down the street and find a diner to eat at.
