Aadil's POV.
On hearing the news about my travel, I noticed Farha dropped. She was shocked and yes! that's more like how I wanted her to react.
She won't just be able to spend two months alone without missing me.Now the expression on her face seems like she was going to stop me from going. Her face had paled immediately and I just shrugged.
After all I was a burden to her and I guess people would always feel happy and lightened if a burden were lifted off their shoulders but I don't just seem to understand Farha's demeanor,
she's so complicated you know.
We proceeded to settle down for the night and Ablah's presence deemed it fit that Farha and I share the same room and that's my room obviously. But I haven't seen Farha since the time she left the living room in a kind of sad manner.
I pushed the door of my room open and the least person I expected to see was standing there by my window.
The night breeze blowing her hair and the city lights illuminating her face which was the only thing I could see due to the fact that there was darkness in the room.
The lamp wasn't on and that speaks strangeness cause it's very unlike her to stay in darkness.
I made my way to her and on noticing me all she could do was turn her face away and moved more closer to the window as if she was going to enter into it but that will only lead to her falling off the building.
I shook the weird thoughts off my head and had my way to take a little closer look and as she was about to speak, her eyes betrayed her as the tears she's being holding cascaded down her cheeks.
"Farha!"
I called out and made a move to wipe the tears but she stopped me raising her hand to me indicating don't!"What is the matter and why haven't you gone to sleep?" I asked sounding a little bit blunt.
She didn't respond and I let out a sigh.
"Or probably you were waiting for me?" "To scold me about not telling you about the trip?" I was being cold here and all she did was to throw me a death glare but thankfully I was still alive
"You aren't still going to say something will you?" "You should get going to your room then, it's clear it's time for bed now and every member of the world would have gone to sleep by now. Look there it's past 12am now" Now she was making me feel wired by not saying anything.
"And maybe you have to be reminded that Ablah is here uhn? Cause I don't understand why you don't see a reason to my being here" she finally laced the words out of her mouth and I sighed.
"Ohh now I get the reason for your being here" I replied walking back to her from my bed which I had earlier gone to put in place.
"It's no big deal Farha, if Ablah knows about our indifference" I spatted trying as much as possible to make the words come out as sarcastic as they could ever.
"And as if you would be able to handle that if it ever happens" she said wiping her tears away and I still didn't know the reason behind those tears.
"Uhh, well that..." I started and...
"And how on earth did it slip your mind to tell me about your trip to Canada? How Aadil? How and why?" She was almost yelling and broke down in tears at once
"Do you even have any idea how shocked I was to hear it from Ablah?, do you have any idea how sad I am on hearing it? Do you have any idea how hurt I am right now that you didn't inform me since? Or do you have any idea how it's going to be hard for me staying without you for months? Two months for hell's sake Aadil! Two months!" Now isn't she going too far and reacting too much.
