Arham's POV.
If it were going to be true and if it weren't going to look and sound like an exaggerated utterance, I would have said that ever since Alma accepted my proposal I had become the happiest man on the surface of the earth .
I have no idea how much I had reacted at her previous answer but I could deduce that it did drove me out of my sanity.
I couldn't just imagine how incomplete and miserable my life would be without her. I agree that before I met her I was just as good as easy going but ever since I set my orbs on her, I knew in my inner mind that I definitely had something to do with her and that I mustn't ignore that one instinct. Alhamdulillah today I'm my complete self with her.
"I won't be complete without you Alma" I told her placing a kiss on her forehead and she looked up at me smiling.
We were seated on the couch, in the living room, my arms wrapped around her as her body laid on the couch.
She had such delicate skin, slender body and fragile natured in contrast to her strong and brave self with vigour and I was so impressed by her.
"I would be incomplete without you as well Arham" the words escaped her lips so tenderly and I smiled at her softness.
That was the first time I would hear her natural voice and it took me so aback realizing that she had been trying her best not to reveal her voice in the actual way it had been designed by Allah.
Wallohi her voice had so much tonne of feminism in it, very tiny and soft Masha'Allah.
The journey from Pakistan back to India had been in a hurry because we had to go by Alma's decision of getting the Aqid Nikkah done on that Friday aforementioned by her.
Flashback
The drive back home from the cliff top was smooth and I was just constantly wearing a wide grin.Oh my Allah! Alma just said yes to me.
These words were ringing in my head and if not for the boundaries being set by Islam, I swear by Allah I would have hugged her for the umpteenth time now.
"Congratulations once again man!" Aadil gritted and patted my back in his embrace as he showed up at the terrace where I was spending the night due to my exited self.
"Thank you Aadil, Alhamdulillah plus your effort" I hugged him as well.
"You don't have to thank me anyway, we're brothers, I'm your big brother isn't it?" He pulled at my ears playfully as we both found ourselves a seat
"Sure sure Bhai" I scoffed and he laughed out loud
"We'll leave for India tomorrow Insha'Allah " he announced and that caught me off guard.
"You're wonderful Aadil, you seem to know exactly what I wanted" I felt a little embarrassed
"Why won't I uhn? Big bros should always isn't it? And moreso I know you can't wait to hold her in your arms so no much time should be wasted more" he said all in one breadth and at all that, I could only see myself facepalm.
"Get some sleep dude, till tomorrow Insha'Allah " he patted me and took his leave.
"Alhamdulillah!" It was resounding around me and was enough for me to fall into slumber
The next morning was an exciting one as everyone of us had our bags packed already and we were set for the journey.
Breakfast went well and quick and soon we were on our way.
