Aadil's POV.
A few days have passed now, and Farha hasn't changed still even though Alma helped me talk to her. She keeps behaving the same way to me, raising her voice at me, treating me with so much scorn and hatred and always doing things that will hurt me. I've tried so many times to talk some senses into her but she wouldn't listen to Alma so why would she even listen to me? Then I decided to do something.
I was in my room reciting the Qur'an, when an idea came to my mind. Farha has always been behaving strange to me, ever since we got here. She considers me her husband but she prevents herself from loving me. I guess I should just take her out on a date, it will reduce her ego a little bit.
I concluded my recitation in the meantime and headed to Farha's room with some chocolates I had gotten for her, to go inform her about the date. We will both go out together and have fun for the day since I'll only take up duty at the hospital by the evening.
I got to her room and knocked on the door. She seemed not to answer and I knocked one more time and upon knocking, I felt very bad and sad that I and my wife had to share separate rooms. Well Farha deemed it fit and I have no guts to stop her from having what she wanted.
On the third knock, Farha still didn't respond and I had to open the door without her permission. She was reciting the Qur'an as well and I felt so happy at that view.
"Wow! My Farha has really changed" I muttered moving closer to her, she was sitting on the couch legs crossed and the Qur'an was lying on a white piece of clothe in her hands.
"Really Farha, are you actually doing a tilawatul-Qur'an right now?" I asked and she threw me an irritating look.
"Well I guess your eyes are still working and very clear for you to see that I am actually reciting the Qur'an" she replied and I was shocked at her response again.
"And why have you come here this time again. Tell me why don't you always let me in peace Aadil? Why?!" She growled and I couldn't take it anymore.
"Farha where are your manners? I'm your husband for Allah's sake!" I snapped at her almost loosing my temper.
"No Aadil, this isn't the right time to reprimand her, remember you came here to inform her that you both would be going on a date and it would be best if you just behaved to her like as if you were her boyfriend. Speak to her softly and with sweet words, it would calm her nerves" my mind scolded me and I tried to calm myself but before I could say anything again, Farha was already out of the room.
Realizing that, I ran after her and caught up with her right at the hallway. "Farha stop" I said pulling her hand and making her rest on the railings nearer to the staircase, unknown to me.
"I'm sorry that I snapped at you, Farha I'm sorry but I have just come to tell you about ourselves, that I will be taking you out on a date tomorrow" I finally announced and her mood cheered a bit but her next reaction shocked me.
"Really Aadil! I was trying to be good by reciting the Qur'an and all you could just do was come to disturb my peace again. Didn't you want me to become a conscious Muslim? You could have just saved your information for some other time and you should have never considered disturbing me" she yelled still under my hold and I was awestrucken.
"And what were you saying? A date? Wow! That's great but I'm sorry I don't accept it, and I won't go out on a date with you samjhe? Now let go off me" She howled and pushed me off her making me land at the least place I should ever find myself.
"Aadil!!!!!" That was Farha's voice as I rolled down the stairs and it was the last thing I heard before I went into a Allah knows where world.
