Aadil's POV
"Dr. Imran, the patient has been moved into the OR we're waiting for you now" One of the surgical nurses called to inform me.
"Okay I'll be on my way now" I replied and dropped the phone once she ended the call
Oh yeah I was on my way to the Operating room before but when I couldn't bear the thought of Farha again, I went back to my office to get myself settled.
I had tried to reach her for up to five times now but her phone got switched off at the last time.
What I didn't understand was why she wasn't answering my calls in the first place...
"She might be busy" my mind told me.
And when I tried for the last time, her phone got switched off...
"Probably it's out of power" my mind assured me again.
Okay fine
But whatever it is, I'm sure she might be in some kind of trouble.
However, I decided to go ahead with the surgery and leave her to Allah's care.
Anything it was going on in that house, I trust Allah to be in control and He will never let anything bad happen to my possession.
He has always taken care of whatever I own and this time I'm sure He will take care of my Farha but for now I have to save a life that depends on me.
When you leave something or someone in the care of the most ultimate, then you should have complete trust that He is definitely going to protect them.
I said my prayers and headed towards the OR, put on the surgical scrubs and there I made my grand entry into the operating room.
The nurse helped me with the surgical apron and by Allah, I began the arduous task.
"Scalpel" I stretched my hands and before I could open the patient up, my mind flashed back to Farha again, I couldn't just help but think about her.
Focus cause Allah is in control.
I assured myself one last time and proceeded with the surgery.
The surgery lasted for six complete hours and Alhamdulillah it was a success.
No complications, no rupture, just a little haemorrhage but Alhamdulillah."Congratulations Dr. Imran you did a very great job in there" one of the directors commended me once I was out of the OR.
"Thank you sir" I faked a smile
"Uhh seems the president might want to see you. Go take a rest and meet him by the evening" He said and as if I knew it.
"Dr. Aakash is taking up duty by the evening, I need to get home now" I threw the words at him almost with a stern look and didn't even wait to hear a reply from him as I just walked off.
Do not blame me actually, I have been patient enough haven't I?
I can't take it anymore
"Hey Aadil! Congratulations man. You did a very good job in there. The whole Matritva hospital is singing your praises now. You've made her proud" Arham met me at the hospital parking lot while I was preparing to leave.
"Dude it's nothing big Alhamdulillah" I replied very faintly as the surgery had taken lot of my energy.
I was very exhausted and just wanted to go home and ensure Farha was fine.
"Hey you sound very tired" That's it Arham knows me too well.
"And that's why I want to get going now" i let out a smile.
