Sam and Dean had been searching the library left and right, so far they haven't found anything except for the same fingerprints that were there before. Dean hated to admit it but they wouldn't be able to find anything else in the library. It was like the culprit had made all the evidence disappear.

"This is getting ridiculous!" Dean exclaimed. "Face it, Sam, we're not going to be able to find anything else, I don't understand why the culprit decided to summon the chupacabra in the first place," he continued. "If they're trying to summon the darkness, why summon a monster to kill people?"

"Dean, if I knew all the answers I would have told you by now," Sam explained as he was pulling some books out from the shelves. Dean sighed and looked at a book on one of the nearby shelves, which was loosely hanging out. Dean took one look wondering what the book was but didn't feel like getting up suddenly without expecting it. The book flew toward him causing him to duck out of the way as it hit Sam in the back. Dean winced since he had forgotten all about the feeling at the same time Sam turned around. "Dude! Why the hell did you throw that at me?"

"I didn't!" Dean defended himself. "I just saw it loosely hanging on the nearby shelf and wanted to read it without getting up,"

"Well, it hurt," Sam answered even though he knew that Dean felt the same thing. "What was that book anyway?" Sam turned and picked it up, keeping his thumb in the middle of the book. The cover was made out of leather and had golden lettering in the center. "Dean, you might want to see this," Sam brought the book over to the table and laid it closed in front of Dean. Advanced summoning rituals for high priestesses.

"Wasn't expecting that," Dean answered. Dean took it from Sam and opened it to the middle of the book. He read through the summoning ritual and noticed that it was a spell to summon the darkness as well as the steps. "To summon the darkness," he read. "One must kill to taint the ground of the summoning site, with the blood of a hunter or human,"

"Claire was the first victim," Sam said instantly. "Her blood tainted the ground where she died," he continued. "We almost became the next victims,"

"Technically you almost became the first victim," Dean responded.

"Right and we're connected, dumbass," Sam responded. "What does it have to do with the chupacabra?" Dean read further and saw a creature eerily similar to what they saw in the tunnels.

"A monster with a taste for blood must be the one to kill the victims," Dean read from the page. "Whoever summoned the chupacabra knew that vampires would be the first thing that hunters would go after, so they needed one that no one would guess,"

"Let me see," Sam said as he pulled the book away from Dean. He skimmed the pages until his eyes landed on something that he wished he didn't read. "They need a total of eight victims," he continued. "The blood of eight victims must be drawn before the full moon at the end of the month," Sam looked at Dean worriedly. "Um Dean... how many more days do we have until then?" Dean thought about it for a second, realization had dawned on him as he started to look extremely worried.

"In three weeks," Dean said. "Oh no I just remembered something, " he continued. Sam knew by the look on his brother's face that whatever he was going to say would be bad. "On the first full moon of the year, the school always hosts a masquerade ball, "

"Which would be the perfect opportunity for the summoner to sneak away unnoticed, " Sam realized. "We have to stop whoever this is Dean and fast or half the school will die in the next three weeks, " Dean knew that Sam was right, but he was more concerned with how to stop this summoner without anyone noticing.

"How? We don't even know if the summoner is human, " Dean pointed out.

"True but I managed to find a few things out when I took the fingerprints," Sam explained, taking out the plastic from his pocket. "Our suspect is most likely female, " he continued. "And her DNA says that she's a blonde, "

"Nice, " Dean said, actually impressed with what his brother had managed to figure this all out from a fingerprint. "When did you have time to do all that?" He asked.

"At 8 am this morning you were asleep, " Sam answered.

"Wonderful, let's see if your evidence matches up with anyone here so we can take them out" Dean responded. "Because I'm not going to any masquerade ball," that same evening Sam and Dean had just gotten back from dinner when Dean's adopted father called him to his office. Confused Dean told Sam that he would see him back at their dorm and proceeded to make his way to his father's office. Dean knocked on the door and pushed it open to see his father sitting behind the desk.

"Ah, Dean come on in son," Mark said to Dean. "There's something I must tell you,"

"If this is about detention I won't get it again," Dean responded. "Or is this about sneaking around?"

"First, I know about your detention, and you better not," Mark said. "Because that makes me look bad, as for sneaking around, that's not the only thing," he continued. "Since you did sneak around, you will be in charge of the masquerade ball, and you will be running it, I would run it but I have to go out of town on business,"

"Are you kidding me?" Dean asked in disbelief. Was this his father's way of punishing him because he would rather get grounded again than run a dance? "I can't even run a birthday party,"

"Do I look like I'm joking?" Mark warned. "I've tried grounding you but you never seem to learn your lesson, this is the punishment you get, you will run it and if you need to why don't you have your detention buddy join you," he said. "You're going to be owning this school once I'm gone, Dean, so I need you to get your act together, have I made myself clear?" Dean nodded even though he was angry about it. He left his father's office and went back to his room. Sam was reading through the book they found when he got back.
