Madison tried to remain calm as she hid in the closet along with Sarah. The older woman was on the verge of having a panic attack which wasn't good for her illness. The chupacabra continued to claw through the door and Madison covered Sarah's mouth so that the creature wouldn't hear anything. She briefly thought about letting her own claws come out to defend herself but that would be risky.
"It's almost through, " Sarah winced. All of the ways her life would end. She never thought that it would be this way.
"Stay here, and keep quiet, " Madison told her. She hid Sam's mother further into the closet and heard the closet door smash down. "I hope this works, " she whispered, letting her werewolf claws come out. It wasn't often she did that but desperate times called for desperate measures. She attacked the chupacabra by surprise but it only managed to slow it down. It growled at the unexpected opponent and stood up on its hind legs so that Madison would fall. Right on que, Sam and Dean burst through the door as the chupacabra was about to turn Madison into a werewolf platter. Sam raced over and pulled Madison out of harm's way as the monster growled in hatred.
"Sammy?" Madison said as she had been relieved. Dean had summoned his sword and attacked the chupacabra; he hit the monster in the arm causing it to yowl in pain and stumble back.
"Madison, go, get my mother to safety," Sam said. "We can handle this,"
"How did he do that?" Madison asked bewireled but Sam said there was no time for questions.
"You have a werewolf girlfriend?" Dean asked once they were gone. The chupacabra tried to snap at its attacker while he was briefly distracted. However, the creature was quickly slashed across its leg by Sam wielding his own sword.
"Shut up you have an ex who is a siren, " Sam reminded him. "Get somewhere safe," Sam told his girlfriend. Madison nodded and went to get Sam's mother who was still hiding in the closet. Sam in turn went over to help Dean, who was practically pinned on the ground. "Dean?!" Sam ran at the monster and knocked it out the window. I crashed through the window and got back up, seeing that it was outnumbered, the creature backed away and took off into the wilderness. Sam helped Dean up from the floor as he dusted himself off.
"I thought we defeated the summoner. How is that creature still alive?!" Dean exclaimed.
"I don't know Dean but we need to figure that out," Sam started when suddenly realization had dawned on him. "Wait, when was the last time we saw Carmen?"
"Shit," Dean said, "you're right, she might still be in the school!"
"How will we deal with that? we can't be two places at once," Sam responded.
"We don't need to be," Dean said. "Come on there's a place that Carmen and I used to go to when we were together,"
"Right, remind me to keep an eye on your love interests," Sam said and bid his mother and girlfriend goodbye before taking off. Sam and Dean got back into the car as Dean drove to an abandoned warehouse that was in the middle of the forest. "Dean... why are we here?" Sam read Dean's mind before Dean could respond. "You mean to tell me that you and Carmen came here? For what? Dates and picnics?"
"Yes, you got a problem with that?" Dean warned.
"Hey I don't see how this was a place for a date, and how do you know she's here?" Sam asked.
"Trust me," Dean said. "This is the place where we always hid before my father jumped on us," he continued. "Come on let's go,"
"We can't just go in there, she's expecting that," Sam explained. "Let's come up with another plan," Sam suddenly had an idea. As the chupacabra recovered from its previous injuries he slashed his sword against its leg. The creature yowled in pain but Sam didn't attack it again, he let chupacabra limp away. "After him, it will lead us to Carmen," he finally said.
"I hope you're right," Dean whispered. The two followed the creature to an open field where Carmen stood holding the book and a bunch of other items. The chupacabra went up to her and Carmen petted the monster like it was her pet.
"Welcome back I was starting to worry," she said to it. The chupacabra made a soft trill noise and its large eyes blinked as if it was trying to say something. "Now boys, did you really think it would be wise to follow me?" She asked. Sam and Dean froze as she turned around with angry tears running down her face. They had killed her beloved aunt and only family, and she wanted to make them pay dearly.
"Looking a little blue there," Dean commented. "Lose something?"
"You killed my aunt!" Carmen exclaimed as she pulled out her dagger ready to kill the brothers. "How dare you do this! I trusted you, Dean! I thought you wouldn't hurt me! But I was wrong!"
"Amazing how death can change you, right Carmen?" Sam asked. Carmen knew that he was referring to the fact that she killed their mother, but she scoffed.
"I was a good girl, I did what I was told," Carmen responded.
"How about we let you join your aunt, we kill you, the chupacabra dies," Dean said, summoning his sword. "Unless you want to come with us peacefully,"
"And bow to you flawed creatures? You, humans, are nothing more than cockroaches!" Carmen yelled. "I'd rather kill you both, now who wants to die first?" Carmen attacked Sam and Dean however Dean hadn't hesitated as he stabbed Carmen in the stomach, Carmen gasped in pain as light protruded from all parts of her body before she collapsed on the ground, dead. The chupacabra attempted to kill the brothers but it immediately disintegrated into dirt leaving the brothers in an open field.
