|| ROSANNA'S POV||

"from strangers to friends,
friends into lovers,
and strangers again."

Ned and i smiled as my Peter swung towards us. we pulled each-other into a group hug. "oh thank god," I sighed in relief. "you okay," Peter asked us. "yeah, we're okay," Ned nodded. "oh my god your ribs," Peter held my waist as  he looked at the cut. "no it's fine, it stopped," held onto his hands. "are you sure," he asked. "it's okay, i promise it's fine," i assured him. "good," he sighed.

"okay, let's go," i shrugged. "you're gonna forget who i am," Peter told us. "what," Ned asked. "what do you mean," i asked. "it's okay, baby, i'm gonna come and find you and i'll explain everything," Peter assured me. "i'll make sure you remember me," he repeated.

"it'll be like none of this ever happens okay," Peter looked at ned as teared streamed down his face. "no, parker, i'm not doing that, okay? what if it doesn't work, how are we supposed to remember you, i don't wanna do it," I whispered as tears streamed down my face. "i know, Zan, i know," Peter sighed.

"surely there's something we can do right? we saved the universe together, there's always something we can do," i rambled. "there's nothing we can do," Peter shook his head. "it'll be okay, though, Zan i promise," Peter asked me. "you promise," Ned asked, breaking down into tears. "i promise," Peter told him. ned nodded in response, tears streaming down his face as him and Peter and him did their handshake, pulling eachother into a hug. "i'll come find you okay," Peter promised Ned. "i know you will," Ned nodded.

Peter pulled away from Ned and looked at me. "peter, you better come find us, you can't break promises, i love you too much to lose you," i sobbed. "i promise i'll fix this," Peter whispered. "i hate this," i sobbed. "i know. me too," he whispered. "you're such an amazing person, parker, with such a good heart," i told him.  "i love you so much," he whispered. "don't say that...not now," i whispered, looking down at the floor. "zan, look at me, please," he whispered. "zan," he repeated, pulling my head up, gently, by my chin. "say it, please," Peter asked me. "i cant," I whispered. "one more time before i go, please," he begged. "you know i love you," i sobbed.

i smashed my lips onto his as the tears streamed down my face, our warm tears mixed together. we let go of each-other and he jumped over to the ledge. i sobbed as i looked over at peter who looked at the sky. "i love you," he whispered, looking back at me.
