14|| Reassurance

Donghyuck and Mark ran over to Renjun's house stopping by a couple of stores, knocking on his door. They both heard feet coming down the stairs soon hearing the door unlock revealing the boy. "What are you guys doing here?" Renjun asked, Donghyuck invited himself in the house with Mark following behind him "We're here to reassure you! and we got your favorite ice cream!" Donghyuck yelled hugging the boy tightly "But I'm fine, Yangyang is with me" He pointed at the boy on the couch.

Mark placed everything on the table going back to the two friends. Donghyuck rolled his eyes "You're not fine, what is one dude gonna do for you to make you happy? We.." He looked at Mark with a confused expression "Mostly me will teach you things and you will be back to your normal self in no time!" Renjun awkwardly smiled at the couple "Back to my normal self?" Donghyuck nodded "Yeah before you got all heart eyes for uh that boy." Yangyang looked at the couple along with Renjun "I don't think Renjun needs that much reassurance Hyuckie" Yangyang told the male.

"Nonsense, when I cried over.." The tanned male thought for a minute before he got interrupted by his boyfriend "I'm your first boyfriend Donghyuck." Mark implied eating a bag of chips. Donghyuck nodded "You're right, the point is that we're just gonna make you forget that man." Renjun slowly nodded, being concerned about what his friend meant by that.

~Time Skip~

Renjun was currently in his room with Donghyuck while the other two boys was downstairs. "Now Renjun, we're gonna go over this for the 11th time. What do you do when you see Jeno?" He asked "Flipping him off is too mean Hyuckie.. Can't I do something else? Like the cold shoulder?" Renjun responded, Donghyuck sighed deeply "Renjun, that boy cheated on you twice I know you have some type of deep hatred for him. Maybe flipping him off will come naturally to you or cursing him out, at least just be an asshole around him."

Renjun nodded. "I can do that!"

Donghyuck patted the boy head with a smile "You learned well Renjunnie, now let's go to the cafe I'm craving something sweet."

~Time Skip~

The four boys walked into the cafe with Renjun instantly being engulfed into a hug. "My poor baby!" The male whined "Dad please let go of him." A girl said behind the counter, The male let go of Renjun with a pout "Sorry about that."

Renjun smiled "It's ok Ten." The four boys sat down at one of the booths looking at the menu while Ten was still looking at Renjun with a frown. "You know dad, you really didn't have to disinfect the whole cafe with spray.." Ten sighed "I know Winter, but I don't like the smell of men.." He replied while cutting a pie into four slices. "Now be a sweetheart and give them the pie."

Winter laughed at her dad words grabbing the platter that had the slices of pie on it. She walked over to the boys "Sorry about how the shop smells, dad disinfected everything 10 times before opening up the shop." She said giving the boys their plates "No wonder it smelled clean in here" Said Yangyang.

Winter walked back to the counter watching her dad look out the window. "Renjun looks happy doesn't he?" She asked him hoping to stop him from daydreaming about whatever. "Mhm, Do you think I should make a sign saying no J's allowed?" Ten asked looking at his daughter. "The cafe would go out of business.." She stated, Ten hummed in response scratching that idea out his mind "Then I will say no Jeno Lee allowed." Winter smiled at her dad and patted his back "Whatever sounds right to you dad."

The two boys watched as their friend finished his slice of pie while taking tiny bites out of Yangyang's without him noticing. "So cute.." Donghyuck took out his phone taking a picture of Renjun. The four boys eventually was finished with their pie and went over to the counter just to chill.

Ten was currently sweeping the floor until he heard the bell. He looked up to see Jisung and Chenle, He dropped the broom opening his arms wide hugging Chenle while Jisung was expecting the hug was for him. "My favorite!" The older male squealed "You barely even knew Chenle for that long! Unfair" Donghyuck whined. Ten let go of Chenle picking up the broom off the floor "I barely knew you for that long either, I only knew you as Mark's crush at the time. Johnny used to tease him about it all the time." Mark blushed red from embarrassment covering his face in his hoodie.

Donghyuck sat there in awe looking at Mark "I knew you liked me first Mark! You owe me $30 Renjun!" He said, Mark was shocked "You knew I liked you? And you bet money on it?!" The tanned male nodded receiving the money "Yep, ever since you gave me that lion plushie since you thought you wasn't coming back from Canada." He explained

Mark was silent thinking how he could've been less obvious about the crush he had on Donghyuck back then. While Jisung and Chenle was watching from afar eating a whole pie together that Ten gave them.

Renjun smiled at his two friends, hugging them both tightly "I love you guys so much, you make me so happy I could squeeze you guys into juice!" Mark nervously laughed while Donghyuck hugged his friend back "We love you too Renjunnie, but please no squeezing we just finished eating pie and I don't really wanna see what Mark ate last night."

Eventually everyone was relaxing in the cafe while Ten and Winter would go back and forth taking orders for customers.

Donghyuck would most definitely say that him reassuring Renjun and the 3 hours of lecturing definitely work to make his friend happy.
