Everyone decided that they should take Jeno to the cafe early before they help with the birthday party, Ten didn't really agree to the idea of having Jeno in his shop but he didn't complain, he brought everyone their drinks and food with a forced smile then went back over to the counter.

Everyone was enjoying the food they got except for Jeno. "You guys really didn't have to do this, I know you're not gonna talk to me once the party is over." Mark laughed "Of course we did Jeno, we're not that cruel to be mad at you for that long." Jeno sighed looking out the window "Is Jaemin still mad at me?" Everyone shrugged "We don't know, he told us he wasn't really a party person so he stayed home." Sungchan said drinking his coffee, Jisung nodded "I would say he's feeling better, so there's a high chance he would come but a low chance since it's your birthday.."

The cafe door soon opened to reveal a girl who was no other than Mina. "Hi Ten!" She said enthusiastically. "It's Mr. Lee to you." He said dryly cleaning off the counters "Oh.. hi Mr. Lee" She responded walking over to the table that had the group of friends at. She sat down right next to Jeno hugging his arm. "Happy birthday Jeno!" Jeno hummed in response "You said that to me 8 times this morning.." She smiled kissing his cheek "That's because, I love you." Everyone at the table gagged  including Ten who was eavesdropping from the counter. Mina gasped "What? It's true. How come Mark and Donghyuck get to say that in public?" Mark tilted his head "We don't say that in public in front of everyone, we say it in private since we like it that way." Donghyuck nodded "Don't assume."

Mina pouted, shaking her head "Anyways. I got you a gift Jeno!" Jeno smiled "I'll open it when the party starts." Mina huffed, crossing her arms "But I want you to open it now!" She said impatiently, everyone slowly turned their heads toward Ten who was walking over to them with a frown. "Someone's in trouble." Yangyang said drinking his tea.

Ten put his hands on his hips glaring at Mina. "I may not like Jeno, but one thing I don't tolerate is impatient little girls forcing people to do shit. Now you could either wait till the party like he said or you can just drop his gift off and leave." Mina was silent, she slowly got up picking up the gift she got Jeno "I will drop this off at your house." With that she left the cafe on the verge of tears. "Yay mama Ten coming to the rescue!" Donghyuck said clapping his hands. Ten smiled "Well I don't like impatient people at all, but you guys should really get going so you can decorate the party." Everyone nodded putting their treats in containers then grabbing their drink leaving the cafe.

Jaemin sat in his bed trying to figure out what to get Jeno, he was only dropping off a gift but he doesn't even know what the older male likes. "This is hard.." Taeil eventually came inside his son's room with a smile "Do you need help nana?" Jaemin nodded, Taeil closed the door behind him looking at the things on the bed. "What's all this?" He asked picking up a figurine "The gifts I'm trying to get Jeno. But I don't know what he likes." Taeil looked at all of them "He likes figurines and also dark sweatshirts maybe even give him some new shoes." Jaemin nodded putting everything into a gift bag, then he looked under his bed grabbing a box of shoes. "He will like these." Taeil smiled ruffling his son's hair "Of course he would, now come on I'll drive you there."

~Time Skip~

The party was crowded to say the least, everyone crowded the living room having Jeno's group of friends in the kitchen. "So did Mina eventually drop the gift off?" Chenle asked taking a sip of his soda, Jeno nodded "She left right after-" Everyone turned their head to see that Jaemin walked inside the house looking around. "Oh! He has a gift for you." Donghyuck got up from the table walking over to Jaemin "Are you looking for the gift table?" Jaemin nodded, Donghyuck smiled and walked over to the table that was by the couch. "Are you staying nana?" Donghyuck putting the gift down. Jaemin shook his head "No, my dad is outside. I only came to drop off a gift." Donghyuck pouted "Aw ok.." He gave Jaemin a quick hug not wanting to have the younger stay any longer.

Jaemin walked over to the front door before Jeno grabbed him by his wrist "Are you sure you don't want to stay? I can have your dad pick you up later." Jaemin nodded "I'm sure Jeno. I don't like parties." Jeno smiled "Then you can just stay with us, you don't have to be around everyone else. We're in the kitchen." Jaemin sighed walking outside to tell Taeil to pick him up later. He then walked back inside the house going straight to the kitchen. "Yay you stayed!" Donghyuck shouted. Jaemin nodded sitting next to Sungchan who was also sitting next to Shotaro "I really don't have anything to do at my house when I realize it.." Mark smiled handing Jaemin a juice box. "Here you go, since you don't really drink soda." Jaemin thanked the older taking the juice box out his hand.

~Time Skip~

Mina eventually came back sitting next to Jeno on the couch. "Gift time!" Donghyuck shouted standing on top of the table. Everyone piled into the living room, being excited to see the birthday boy open his presents.

Jeno opened Donghyuck's first which was hair dye for whatever reason, then he opened Mark's which was a phone case. Renjun and Yangyang's was rings, Sungchan's was earrings, Chenle was a new phone, Jisung's was a game system, then Mina's was a bracelet.

Eventually he opened everyone's gifts excepts Jaemin's who was the last one. He opened it to reveal a gojo figurine, a couple of sweatshirts that was his favorite color, then a pair of black boots. "Wow, thanks Jaemin!" He said with a smile, he hugged Jaemin tightly then let go of him looking at him for a second "You're welcome, nono.." Jaemin responded patting Jeno's head. Mina was clearly jealous so she decided to take Jeno away from the younger. "Let's go somewhere private Jeno!" She said running upstairs to his room without him having a say in it.

Jaemin just stood there with the others until Jisung spoke up "My parents are outside, I should get going." He grabbed his phone walking out the house with Chenle following behind him. The party was basically empty with Jaemin feeling awkward "I should leave too, I told my dad he can pick me up after Jeno opens my gift." Jaemin got up from the couch walking out the door.

Donghyuck groaned "That dumb Mina girl!" Mark shushed his boyfriend "She's still in the house Hyuckie." Donghyuck looked at the boy with a blank stare "Do you think I give two shits? She's so ew." Renjun nodded "I agree, she's obviously trying to get in the way of something." Mark rolled his eyes "Or she just loves her boyfriend, she probably thinks Jaemin and Sungchan are dating." Sungchan choked on his drink "But we're not. We're just affectionate toward each other even Jaemin's knows we're not dating." Yangyang sighed "Whatever she is planning, Jeno doesn't really seem interested."

Jeno and Mina came back downstairs with him going straight to the kitchen while Mina left the house. "I see you got some action going on." Donghyuck teased. Jeno shook his head "It was just a make out session, nothing serious. Where's Jaemin?" Donghyuck pouted while crossing his arms "He left not too long ago, he said he would leave after you opened the gift he gave you." Mark looked inside the bag picking up a bottle of cologne "I see he also got you cologne." Jeno walked over to the group of friends taking the cologne out Mark's hand "I know, but I'm not gonna use it right away."

The group of friends was currently in Jeno's room watching a kdrama that Donghyuck recommended. Sungchan and Shotaro eventually left not too long ago.

The two couples eventually fell asleep leaving Jeno awake thinking about the younger boy. He thought it was ridiculous since he was in a relationship with Mina. "So ridiculous." He sighed turning off his tv and his light going straight to sleep.
