Jaemin has been calling and texting Jeno ever since he left for his summer vacation, they fell asleep on call together multiple times mostly Jaemin dozing off while Jeno listened to his soft snores. Jaemin would usually just ramble about his day to the older with Jeno listening to every detail on the other line.

Currently the two boys was on the phone while Jaemin was watching a movie about some large cat, he only put on the movie so he doesn't sit in silence. "Nono when are you coming back?" He asked while looking down at his phone, Jeno laughed "Jaemin I barely been here for a month, I'm not coming back so soon."

Jaemin pouted even though Jeno couldn't see it "But why? What's so fun about being on an island?" Jeno sighed "You sure are clingy nana, don't worry once I come back I'll give you a bunch of hugs." Jaemin smiled behind the screen "Do you promise nono?" Jeno nodded "Yes I do promise but right now I gotta go I'll talk to you later, ok?" Jaemin went back to pouting "Awe ok.. bye Jeno." He ended the call now feeling bored. "Maybe he's back by now." He picked up his phone calling the boy again, he waited for him to pick up with a pout.

He heard water from the other end of the phone so he guessed Jeno was around a pool "Nono I missed you!!" He blurted out, Jeno laughed "It hasn't even been a minute Jaemin and you're already missing me." Jaemin huffed "Don't judge me, I got lonely since my parents are out on a date." Jeno hummed in response while drinking his glass of orange juice "Well I'm eating lunch outdoors."

Jaemin got comfortable on his bed laying down right next to his phone "Make sure no one steals your food!" Jeno nodded with a smile "I promise I won't." Jaemin slowly closed his eyes feeling tired suddenly "Good." Jeno sighed eating his grilled chicken "You're gonna fall asleep on me aren't you?" Jaemin shook his head while slowly falling asleep "No, I'm energized! Make sure to eat all your food nono!" Jeno laughed "Alright nana, when I get back what do-" Jeno heard soft snores on the other line, he broke out into a smile which caught the attention of his girlfriend "Why are you smiling Jeno?" He hummed in response quickly ending the call "The food is so good, especially the grilled chicken." Mina smiled while hugging her boyfriend "I'm glad you like it! My dad made it with the help of your dad!" He nodded, mentally rolling his eyes.

~Time Skip~

Jaemin woke up from his nap, going over to check the time "It's only 4:37?" He groaned getting out of bed, he walked out his room only to see his friends downstairs "Where's my parents?" He asked walking down the stairs, Donghyuck shrugged while eating popcorn "Probably still on that double date with Kun and Hansol." Jaemin huffed, sitting down right next to Renjun. "I'm bored.." Renjun nodded not paying any attention to the younger, Jaemin sighed with a pout "I'm gonna go call Jeno." He went back upstairs grabbing his phone clicking on Jeno's contact.

Donghyuck looked at Jaemin's bedroom door then at Mark "You don't think he's developing attachment issues?" Mark shook his head "No, he's just naturally clingy." Donghyuck thought for a moment "Yeah but Jeno told me that Jaemin always calls him right after they hang up." Renjun shrugged "If he does then that's cool and if he doesn't that's also cool but he probably just misses Jeno that's all, no feelings attached." Donghyuck rubbed his face "They almost kissed though!" Renjun nodded "Yeah almost! Meaning the feelings are mutual unlike Jisung and Chenle who kiss but still friendzone each other." Donghyuck gave up in defeat with the Chinese male.

Jaemin was currently waiting on Jeno to pick up, he thought for a moment before hanging up. "I'll call him later.." He put his phone away then walked back out his room to his friends "Let's go to the cafe!" He said while going downstairs "I thought you was on the phone with Jeno?" Mark said with a confused expression "I decided to call him later! Now let's go I'm hungry for sweets."

~Time Skip~

The 4 boys was currently at the cafe enjoying the pastries that Ten made, Jaemin constantly looked at his phone until Renjun grabbed it "No calling Jeno, nana." He said sternly. Jaemin pouted "It will be a quick call! I promise!" Renjun shook his head "You suggested we go to the cafe now eat your food, I promise I'll give you your phone back once you're done." Jaemin huffed taking a bite out of his pie.

Ten eventually walked over to the small group of friends with a smile "Where's everyone else?" He asked sitting down next to Donghyuck, Mark shrugged "I know Jisung went to go do something, Chenle is still at a family gathering, Yangyang is.. I don't know." Ten nodded then looked at Renjun who had Jaemin's phone "Where's Jeno?" Jaemin frowned "He's in Jeju with Mina.." Ten smiled at the younger "And I'm guessing you want to call him?" Jaemin nodded, looking at Renjun "I'm done with my pie please give me my phone!" Renjun rolled his eyes handing the younger his phone, Jaemin instantly got up from the table going somewhere else to call Jeno.

Ten sighed "I'm guessing, he been on a call with Jeno all morning.." Donghyuck nodded "It's cute when you think about it but then I think Jaemin is just in love with Jeno without actually knowing he is." Ten nodded while eating one of Renjun's cinnamon rolls "Well I think they're both in love but not deeply in love to the point Jeno flies back to Seoul just to be next to Jaemin." Mark thought for a minute "Do you think the love is one sided?" Renjun shook his head "You would think Jeno would curse Jaemin out by now since he's always calling him but he just laughs it off."

Ten started to smile "I think Mr. Lee Jeno gain a soft spot for Jaemin." Donghyuck gasped "You're right! Jeno would've instantly hung up on Jaemin once he falls asleep but I remember their call lasted for like 15 hours only because Jeno refused to hang up on Jaemin while he was sleeping so then he ended up falling asleep." Renjun rolled his eyes "You're freaking out over a couple that's not even a couple, friends do the same thing."

~Time Skip~

Jaemin was on the phone with Jeno again while they were both eating dinner "What are you eating Jeno?" The younger asked while eating his pork belly ramen that he made himself "I'm eating whatever Mina's dad made.." Jeno responded, Jaemin hummed in response "Is it good?" Jeno looked at the food that was on his plate "It's alright, could use more seasoning though." Jaemin smiled "We could've had pork belly ramen together!" Jeno chuckled "Is that what you're eating nana?" Jaemin nodded "Yes, I made it myself! But I'm eating in my bedroom since my parents still isn't here yet."

Jeno nodded "I'm also eating in my room but I share it with Mina." Jaemin pouted "That.. sucks." Jeno laughed putting his empty plate on the nightstand "Yeah but luckily she sleeps way earlier than me and wakes up super late." Jaemin sighed throwing his empty ramen cup away "I'm gonna go shower nono." He got off his bed going to his closet to pick out his pajamas. "Ok, I'll wait till your done." Jeno responded setting the phone down, he got off the bed to stretch since he only been in the bed for a while. The door opened revealing his girlfriend who had a smile on her face "Jeno can I get a kiss?" Jeno nodded sitting back down on the bed to go on his phone, Mina walked over to her boyfriend pushing him back on the bed which threw him off by surprise "What are you-" He been cut off by feeling a pair of lips on his, he slowly closed his eyes melting into the kiss.

Jaemin eventually got out the shower in his pajamas ready to be back on the phone with Jeno, he got into his bed laying down "Je-" He stopped when he heard someone kissing, he ended the call turning off his phone then threw it off the bed. 

Jaemin soon turned off his tv leaving himself in the dark, he closed his eyes forcing himself to sleep.
