54|| Awkward Goodbye

"Ah! Jeno it hurts!" Jaemin moaned out, Jeno rolled his eyes keeping the same steady pace he was originally at when they first started. "Just relax Jaemin, you'll get used to it soon." Jaemin whined while latching on to Jeno's arms.

The two boys was currently stretching since Jeno told Jaemin he doesn't remember seeing him stretch while they were both in highschool. "We're done nana." Jeno let go of Jaemin who fell onto the floor with a thud "I hate stretching." Jaemin admitted glaring at his friend, Jeno smiled patting the younger head "You'll be ok, we're only doing it once a week." Jaemin huffed while throwing his pillow at Jeno "I don't wanna stretch anymore! It's hard!" Jeno bursted out laughing while throwing the pillow back on the bed.

Doyoung soon came into the room, being concerned about the noises he heard until he walked in only to see Jaemin hitting Jeno with a pillow. "Oh hi dad!" Jaemin said while throwing the pillow back on the bed, Doyoung awkwardly waved at his son "What noises was I hearing?" He asked while staring at the two, Jeno shrugged "Jaemin was stretching with me." Doyoung stared at the two blankly before closing the door going back downstairs.

Doyoung sat back in his seat while thinking about his life decisions. "I thought they were having sex.." He told his husband, Taeil choked on his tea at Doyoung's words "What made you think that?" Doyoung shrugged "I heard noises.. but they're only stretching." Taeil nodded still coughing.

Jaemin and Jeno soon came downstairs, putting on their shoes. "Where are you guys going?" Doyoung asked while looking at the two, Jaemin smiled at his father "We're going to the cafe! We'll be back!" Jaemin grabbed Jeno's hand walking out the house while Doyoung and Taeil looked at each other then sighed.

~Time Skip~

The two boys was at the cafe with their three other friends. Jaemin was too busy ranting about his week to Donghyuck leaving Jeno, Jisung, and Mark to stare at the two. "So uh how are you guys?" Mark asked trying to start a conversation, Jisung shrugged eating his apple pie, Jeno wasn't paying attention to Mark since his focus was on Jaemin the whole time. Ten soon walked over to the group of friends with a smile "Would you guys like anything else?" They all shook their heads while going back to what they were doing.

Ten nodded sitting next to Mark who was drinking his coffee "Good, because I'm on break." Donghyuck thought for a moment before speaking up "We should get a house together!" Everyone turned their head toward the tanned male "Including Ten hyung?" Jisung asked, Donghyuck shook his head "No silly! I'm talking about when we're adults! I wanna go to one big house and just have fun there!" Ten nodded "That sounds fun, you could always get Taeyong to rent out a house for you!" Donghyuck thought for a moment "You're right, I'll tell him that. Thanks Ten." Ten smiled getting up from the table, going back to the counter.

Everyone turned their heads toward the door once they heard the bell. Everyone slowly turned to Jeno when a girl walked over to their table "Jeno!" Jeno stopped daydreaming looking at the girl "Oh hi Mina.." He responded, she sat right next to her boyfriend with a smile "Let's go to a house for the summer!" Jeno tilted his head "Like a beach house?" She nodded kissing her boyfriend on the cheek "Be sure to be packed by tomorrow! Bye nono!" She got up from the table leaving the cafe. Donghyuck glared at Jeno "She didn't even let you say no! You're gonna be gone for months!" Jeno smiled calmly "It's fine Donghyuck, I'm probably only be gone till August then come back." Everyone stared at Jeno in confusion "But like before Mark's birthday, right?" Donghyuck asked, Jeno nodded "Probably come back late July."

~Time Skip~

Jeno was currently packing his bags with Jaemin having a pout on his lip. "Do you have to leave nono? Do you even know where you're going?" Jeno nodded "I'm going to Jeju Island, I told you guys I will come back before August." Jaemin was still pouting "Why aren't you packing the things I got you?" Jeno shrugged "She'll most likely throw them away if I told her who I got it from." Jaemin sighed sitting on the bed, Jeno laughed packing his toiletries "You're acting like I'm leaving today, I'm leaving tomorrow Jaemin." Jaemin frowned "I know, but you're gonna be gone forever."

Jeno stopped packing his bag looking at the younger "You sure are clingy nana, I'll text you everyday when I get the chance to, ok?" Jaemin nodded feeling much happier "At least the good thing about this is that I don't have to stretch anymore.." Jeno nodded, looking down at his bag "I think I'm done for tomorrow." Jaemin gasped, instantly taking off his necklace "I want you to have this while you're away! So it can remind you of me!" Jeno took the necklace from the younger hands looking at it with a smile "I will take good care of it." Jaemin smiled throwing himself on to the older hugging him tightly "Thank you nono!" Jeno hugged the younger back.

Jaemin finally let go of Jeno resting his arms around the older neck, they both looked into each other's eyes, leaning in before they got interrupted by Donghyuck opening the door holding a cereal box. "Hey Je-" He looked up to see the two boys letting go of each other with a blush on their face "What were you asking Donghyuck?" Jeno asked trying to get rid of the awkward tension, Donghyuck thought for a moment until he remembered "Oh! Is this cereal expired? Mark tried eating it." Jeno shook his head "My mom just got that cereal." Donghyuck nodded closing the door behind him.

Jaemin and Jeno looked at each other before Jaemin got off the bed leaving the room. Jeno sighed putting the necklace in the small part of his suitcase, he zipped it up pushing it to the side he then laid down on his bed looking up at the ceiling.

Jaemin went downstairs to the front door, putting his shoes on then leaving out the door. The group of friends all looked at each other before shrugging going back to what they were watching "Jeno and Jaemin almost kissed." Donghyuck blurted out, everyone turned their head toward the younger with shocked faces "Yeah I'm kinda shocked too, I kinda interrupted them by accident though so now they have awkward tension toward each other." He sighed going on his phone to distract himself while everyone else was still thinking about what the tanned male said.
