57|| Grounded

Jaemin been grounded for a day but it felt like he was for a week, he explained to his parents what happened which resulted him being grounded for two weeks so he couldn't invite his friends or even go to their houses. "This sucks.. how come papa was so easy on me but dad was so harsh.." He pouted getting off his bed leaving his room, he went straight downstairs to Doyoung with his hands on his hips.

Once he made eye contact with his father he quickly put his hands to his side "Is there something you want to talk about Jaemin?" The older asked while drinking his usual cup of coffee "Yes.. I wanted to tell you it was a simple mistake I did of kissing Jeno knowing he was dating Mina." Doyoung hummed in response typing on his computer "But I also wanted to say that maybe grounding me for two weeks isn't very fair.. I promised Mark I'll be there for his birthday." Doyoung nodded "Then I'll drop it to three days, but promise me you won't go kissing Jeno again. I don't want you to be included with the Lee's or Kang's strange relationship." Jaemin smiled hugging his father "I promise dad! Thank you!" He ran upstairs to his room plopping down on his bed.

Doyoung sighed "Oh Jaemin, only if you knew."

Jaemin was on his phone, trying to figure out what to do while being in his room. He couldn't do much which sucked he was still grounded, he was gonna call Jeno but figured that Jeno is probably with Mina trying to bring their relationship closer. "I hate being grounded, he could've just let me off with a warning or something." He pouted "Papa forgave me saying it was an accident but I'm still somehow grounded!!" 

Jaemin huffed figured he could take a nap, he shut off his tv and went straight to bed.

Taeil looked at his husband who walked through their bedroom door. "Don't you think you overdid it? Just a little bit?" Doyoung shook his head putting his laptop away "I think I did the right decision by grounding him, I just don't want him hurt by Jeno.." Taeil glared at Doyoung "But grounding him? You could've let him off with a warning to not do it again." Doyoung sighed deeply rubbing his temple "I did what I thought was best! Jeno isn't a good person to be around Taeil!" He yelled "Don't you raise your voice at me Doyoung! Do you even notice how Jeno is around Jaemin?! Cause I sure know that our friends see it!" He yelled back.

Doyoung stood there for a second "What are you talking about?" Taeil sighed "Ten and Kun tells me everyday of how Jeno and Jaemin act around each other, they're so happy around each other. Jeno changed ever since the graduation." Taeil crossed his arms "But you're too blind to see it!" He added.

Doyoung felt dumb while Taeil was now pissed off. "It's either you unground him or I'll do it myself Doyoung." Taeil said sternly. Doyoung groaned out of frustration "I'll do it tomorrow Taeil.

~Time Skip~

Jaemin eventually woke up from his nap feeling hyper, he got out of his bed then ran downstairs to his parents with the biggest smile on his face. "Papa! I love you." He said hugging Taeil, the older male smiled "I love you too Jaemin, what's going on?" Jaemin shrugged patting Doyoung on the head "I feel super hyper today.. but I'll be fine." He ran back upstairs to his room closing the door behind him.

He then felt very exhausted, he climbed into his bed getting under the blanket only to pass out minutes later.
