Mia

I stood in front of the mirror not even recognizing my own reflection because she looked happy and carefree. I knew somewhere in Heaven, Grammy was looking down on me right now smiling. That or she was lecturing me about drinking mimosas so early in the morning. A knock on the door made me turn towards it, "come in!"

My brother poked his head in with his hands over his eyes, "are you decent?"

"This is as good as it's going to get," I chuckled.

He brought his hand down and his eyes went wide, "Dani's gonna shit herself when she sees you."

I laughed knowing that was Dom's way of saying I looked good, "that's the goal."

"Nervous?" he handed me my bouquet as I sighed and turned back to my reflection.

He must've taken my sigh as nerves but I shook my head, "I'm excited. It was weird not waking up beside Dani this morning but I miss her."

He raised an eyebrow at me, "Mia, you guys were apart for only 10 hours."

I turned around, "and? I still miss her, okay!"

"You guys are so in love, it's sickening," he shook his head with a chuckle.

"Sounds like someone's jealous that I got the girl," I smirked and then laughed out loud when I caught his expression in the mirror.

"I told you, I was young and Dani isn't my type anymore."

I should've let it go there, but it was always so entertaining poking fun at Dom about this, "well, I'd be concerned if you're type was a lesbian. You'd have your heart broken all the time."

He threw a pillow at me and that only made me laugh harder, "do you want me to walk you down the aisle or not?"

I clapped my hands excitedly, "yes please!"

He opened the door for me, "just to clarify, this is the last time I'll be walking you down the aisle," he joked, "no more weddings for you."

I looped my arm with his and grinned, "no problem."

Dani

I stood in front of the altar, waiting for my bride. Who knew that objecting at Mia's wedding 2 years ago, she'd be standing next to me on our wedding day?

The pianist suddenly started playing as everyone stood up and looked towards the entrance doors.

Terri signalled for the doors to open revealing Mia and Dominic both with smiles on their faces.

My heart just about exploded in my chest seeing her. The pianist started playing the wedding march beautifully on the piano which cued Mia and Dominic to start walking.

My eyes were trained on Mia as I watched her smile grow bigger the closer she got to me. I started to laugh when her pace started to pick up, making it hard for Dom and the pianist to keep up.

"Mia, slow down," Dom whispered in a stern tone when they got closer but Mia dragged him along with her.

"Hi," she grinned at me when she got to the altar.

Me, along with the guests couldn't help but laugh, "Hi," I answered.

Dom unhooked her arm from his, "here, take her. Please," he handed me her hand and then took a seat next to my parents but not before shaking his head.

I squeezed her hand as we both turned to Derek who was our Officiator.

"Dear friends and family of the two Brides, we welcome and thank you for being part of this important occasion. We are gathered together on this day to witness and celebrate the marriage of Danielle Lennox and Amelia Taylor."
