I eventually get out of the car after what seems like an eternity.

I look up and see an average-sized house that's a dark brown color, surrounded by trees. We're in the woods. The house almost blends in.

Camouflage?

I knock on the door, feeling awkward about walking up to it alone. As my fist hits the wood, it opens with a loud creak. As soon as I walk in the foyer, I realize that this is no ordinary house. For starters, there are seven staircases immediately when you open the door.

Weird.

Looking up the stairs, there are seven doors at the end of them.

Whoever designed this house had to have been on crack.

Okay, so. Seven staircases. Seven doors. Harry, The Grapevine, and the three other boys must live here. That leaves two other doors. Guest rooms? Is one of them for me? Does someone else live here with them?

I'm not sure which room I should go to or if I'm supposed to take a particular staircase to get there.

I hesitate at the bottom of the fourth one from the right, to the left of a long hallway that I'm assuming leads to the rest of the house.

"Took you long enough," A voice grabs my attention. Harry's walking down the third staircase with a look of amusement plastered across his face.

All I want to do is ask him about how he knew I was lying. I want to know how he knew my name, how he found me at the library, why he kidnapped me, and what the hell I'm doing here. I want to know who the other four boys are, where I am, if I'll ever get my phone back, how long I'll be here, if I'll ever see my friends again, if I'll graduate college; the list goes on and on.

I'm utterly confused and disoriented from lack of food and sleep, and I want answers. I need answers. But for now, all I want to do is sleep.

"Yeah, I... I was taking my time I guess," I reply.

Harry stands a few feet in front of me with his hands in his pockets, and is eyeing me closely with a look of concern. I want to tell him to stop looking at me like that, but I'm too tired to deal with his attitude.

"You guess? Are you ever sure about anything?"  He questions, stepping closer.

That's a loaded question.

"I don't know." I reply meekly, looking down at my feet.

"What do you know?" He asks, lowering his voice an octave.

I sigh. "That's a stupid question," I want to say.

But I don't.

"I know I need sleep."

He nods in response. "Your room is right up those stairs." He points to the staircase to the left of his. Staircase number 2.

I nod, and begin climbing the stairs.

At the top of the staircase lies a wooden door, identical to the other six doors on this level. I swing it open to reveal a big room with a bathroom attached to it. A king sized bed is centered against the left wall with white sheets and a white comforter. A large window with a window seat lies past the bed with a large walk-in closet to the right of it. The closet is empty except for a few blankets and some extra pillows and sheets.

I continue scanning the room and see a bookshelf next to a desk on the right wall. A singular book rests on the desk.

I untuck the sheets from under the bed and curl up under the covers. My head and body sink into the memory foam mattress and pillows and I feel myself begin to relax.
