The sun were bright and sunny this afternoon, still cold though, but we took it as our advantage and hung out at the Quidditch pitch until it was dinner time. The Ravenclaw Quidditch team was practicing, so we had something to look at.

Our team was really good. We all had to stop talking in order to look at the team as they flew around, catching the ball and dodging the flying balls so easily. I was too engrossed in what was in front of me, that I did not see a little gold object flying around us and suddenly gets caught by someone. It was so fast. As I looked at who caught it, it wasn't anyone from the team. No, it was...

"Stephen?!"
I ask in disbelief as I looked at the blonde boy who is throwing the Snitch from one hand to another.

"Hello?"
He glanced at me and then at the others, startled that they all stared at him with wide eyes and open mouths.

"You just caught the Snitch."
Michael blurt out as his eyes followed the little ball in Stephen's hands.

"No, really?"
He gave us all a knowing look as we chuckled at his sarcastic reply.

The team landed right in front of us, as we sat in the first row. The captain, Roger Davies, stalked towards us, the rest of the players following behind him.

"Impressive move. How did you do it?"
Davies asks, as he stopped, leaning on top of his broom.

Stephen shrugged.
"I don't know. I just have fast reflexes, I guess."

"You have to try out next year. You will be perfect for a Seeker, even for a Chaser."
Davies pointed out.

"Why can't we try to convince McGonagall to let Stephen play, even if he is just a first year? Like Harry."
Morag spoke up from beside Lisa, obviously curious.

Roger only shook his head.
"McGonagall is only responsible for Gryffindor. Flitwick is for us, he sticks by the rules. And Harry had a lucky shot."

"Oh."
Morag mumbled.

"Teacher's pet."
Lisa coughed out.

I rolled my eyes at her and turned to look at Stephen.

"Can I hold it?"
I gestured towards the Snitch.

He looked at Davies for confirmation. Davies sighed and nodded.
"Just make it quick, we still have an hour to practice."

The Snitch felt smaller than it looked like. It felt like a golf ball, only slightly smaller, very well polished, thus making the gold color shine. It also felt so smooth, not a single bump was felt.

Everyone bundled up around me and made turns to hold it, but because we took too long with the Snitch, Davies took it away, making most of them groan in annoyance.

"I swear sometimes I think that Lisa is in the wrong House."
Morag complained as we walked towards the lake.

We got tired of watching Quidditch practice, mainly because of someone's bickering (can you guess who?) so we decided to go to the lake to practice some spells. Some of the boys in my year decided to tag along.
