"He saved you?"
Mandy asked in disbelief as we sat in the Great Hall for lunch.

I decided after a week of the incident that it was safe to to tell Mandy.

"Basically yes. If it wasn't for him, I would not have been here right now."
I admit.

"Awww, that was so sweet of him!"
She cooed, making me groan.

"Can you please quiet down, I don't want the whole hall to hear you."

"I'm not talking that loud, Leila. Besides, no one knows who we are talking about."
She gave me a weird look, which I returned, as it turned into a staring contest.

"Do you like him?"
Mandy spoke lowly, after a minute of silence.

"Don't be silly, I don't even know him for that long."
I tried keeping my tone neutral.

"That's not the point, sweet Leila. The point is, do you like him?"
Another voice joined in the conversation, making me break eye contact with Mandy and turned to face the new comer.

Morag was standing a few meters away from us, leaning against the table, wearing a smirk on her face.

"Morag." I groaned. "Not you too."

She smiled in victory and slide into the seat next to me.
"Yes, me too. So, do you like him?"

I looked at my two friends, mentally throwing a tantrum because of how nosy they are.

"No, I don't like him, okay? Stop asking me."
I give them stern looks.

Morag nod her head but stopped midway and looked at Mandy.
"Wait, why did we ask her?"

Mandy looked at me. I gave her a 'don't you dare tell her' look. She gave me a tight smile and looked at Morag.
"Because Draco Malfoy saved her."

I glared at her as she innocently smile and shrug, making me roll my eyes just as Morag freaked out.

"What?! The Draco Malfoy?"

"Who else?"
I mumbled.

"When did that happen? And how?"
She continued.

"Last week. And it does not matter how, I'm not going into details."
I grumbled, fumbling with a page in my Transfiguration textbook.

"One last question?"
A third voice spoke.

"What is it?"
I sigh, looking up. A small smile appeared on my lips.
"Belle. You and Mo would make great spies."

"I know, right? That could be our future job, Isobel!"
Morag gapsed, making us all laugh.

Isobel playfully rolled her eyes at her sister and looked at me again.

"Anyway, did you appreciate his saving?"

"Of course." I admitted without a beat, making my cheeks warm up. "I will forever be grateful."
I glanced towards the Slytherin table, caughting sight of a focused blonde boy, all his attention in his books.

"And that is all we need to know."
Mandy's voice brought me back to our table.

I looked at her as she wiggled her eyebrows. I took a small bun that was near me and threw it at her, hitting her square in the face. She froze for a moment until she looked down at the bun. She silently gasped and threw the bun back at me, but before the bun could even touch me, a hand flew out in front of me and caught the bun with ease.
