They set off again, the sky was dark and raining a bit. Dran's head still acheing but he refused to get some rest.
-Good morning sir, coming off today?
-Yeah we have to go now. Our destination is still far to be reached.
-Good luck on the journey! -said as the tavernkeeper happily taking them off the door.
It was raining so everyone was obviously wet, their bags were all soaked making those goods even heavier. Worst case was always DranGon with the biggest bag to be doubled in weight. His back had been bent down a lot and he seemed to stand with his back bent forward ever since.
-DranGon, let us hold some for you.
He shoke his head and didn't let anyone hold it. Not to be rude but he would do his duty without a help and he was determinded to finish up whatever he was given a task for. He fell sick from time to time but he stood as sturdy as a rock. Though we hadn't seen his smile for quite a time than a neutral emotionless face to an exhausted face but that about it. It was so arkward for him to say no when someone offered help but that his thing. The rain would only get heavier and heavier, wind blew harder and harder that their bags were so soaked to even take a step. Ravirk dropped his and fell onto the bag, exhausted while being so soaked in the cloak.
-Shawon, can you carry Ravirk for a bit? We got quite a way to walk before we find somewhere to wait out.
Said as DranGon just casually stacked Ravirk's bag on top of his then just continued moving. Big heavy and shaky step, his body seemed like he would tip over from those heavy stuff. As they all so exhausted yet the walk had to continue just to find a shelter, wind blew harder and the rain poured down nonstop. Eventually everyone felt so exhausted that they just fell down on the wet ground, DranGon didn't look well but he could do a few more step... though he stopped with everyone under the open field raining. He fell flat on his belly and all those heavy bags just squashed on top of him and a loud thud. There was a faint crack when he fell down but it wasn't heard. The ache returned, or rather quite an amount of force on his poor back trying to carry those. The rain wouldn't stop, the wind kept blowing. It was so cold and wet, everyone was so tired to even lift their legs off the ground. The big bag weaving back and forward as DranGon tried to push the bag off but he couldn't and just lied there with eyes barely open. Eventually everyone fell asleep on their bags in the middle of the field under the rain, cold, shiver and windy...
___
Everyone woke up, surprised they were all under a quick-crafted shelter under a tree with their bags still on their arm. It was only Ravirk awoke. The shelter was surprisingly blocked off all the rain, although the rain was still really heavy and the sky got darker and darker as the time got to evening. He tried to collect to fuel around but all the branches around were all wet. It got darker as he struggled, he couldn't do much but to see the sky got so dark he couldn't see anything. Big belly of his started to growl loudly, getting really hungry but there wasn't anything to eat so he just fell asleep again.
The rain kept going and the sky got pitch black dark.
___
Then a day passed as the sunrise came up, the rain completely stopped and it was DranGon woke up to an already set campfire burning in front of him and others. He stood up from the tree and looked around, sensing anyone around but there wasn't any. His clothes wrapping his front was still a bit wet and overall body were really moist (though he wouldn't mind) as he was heavily taking step around. There were no one yet a temporary shelter and a campfire was made. He sat down and just stared at the fire in silence, as the wood cracked sparks from the burn for a long times. As the sun rose higher and higher and brighter it got. Everyone together woke up while still half soaked wet, cold and shivering from the wet.
-Where are we?
-I really don't know. I woke up to this.
-I tried looking around but someone made us a shelter then a campfire now here -said Ravirk as he was still drowsy -and I think we all slept through the entire day, how all the stuff we got?
Dirotor opened the bag and everything were in place. He opened others as well and everything seemed untouch than how soaked some of the stuff. DranGon seemed to empty himself in thoughts as he stared at the fire without detaching his sight from it. Shawon tried looking around the shelter but there wasn't anything too interesting. They were still a bit soaked from the last night but they grabbed their stuff and continued their walk anyway. Right as they about to leave, someone suddenly appeared, an orc with top heavy build slammed against DranGon's body.
-Oops, sorry sir. You alright?
He gave a sinful glance but then continued going his way, left out with a heavy breath of anger. DranGon didn't feel good about it though he would want to talk to him but then he just went on with the rest of everyone, holding on his back some heavy packages.
