Faylinn and Elwin woke up to low talking voices. "Do you think they are awake?," A male voice asked. "I don't know, laddie. You fall into a very deep sleep when you journey with a tree," Faylinn groaned and opened her eyes, realising they were laying on a cold stone ground. Elwin slowly sat up, "Where are we?," Faylinn quickly sat up and turned to face the looks of two short men with big noses. One had white beard and the other one red beard. They both had grey eyes.
"Hello lassie, how are you?," The short man with red beard asked. The creatures were even shorter than her. Faylinn didn't answer, instead she screamed in shock and fear, and she and Elwin hurried to hide behind a stone wall. The creatures seemed to have been taken aback. "Oh, My Lady. We didn't mean to scare you," The short man with red beard said. Faylinn and Elwin dared to come out from behind the stone wall.
The short men smiled at them. "I'm Thondin son of Thovir," The man with red beard introduced himself. "And I am Dalir son of Duvon. We are the dwarves of Arlinon, in the southern mountains," The man with white beard said. Elwin turned to Faylinn who swallowed.  "I'm Elwin Crow," Elwin said. "I'm Faylinn," She declared slowly, "And I do not have a last name because I do not know who my parents are," "Everyone has a last name," Dalir said, "But since you do not know yours, and everyone is calling you 'The Light'... May we call you, The Daughter of Light?," Faylinn nodded slowly. Thondin nodded, "Well Faylinn. Let's take you to Gideon," And Dalir turned around, "Gideon! She's awake," A long man with grey beard and grey hair went over to them. Faylinn swallowed and the man gave her a kind smile. "Faylinn, daughter of Light. My name is Gideon and I'm a wizard. I'm here to help you and bring you and your friend to safety," Faylinn looked at the old man and nodded. "Are you thirsty, children?,"The wizard asked gently. Faylinn and Elwin nodded, still a little bit scared. And The dwarf Dalir handed her a waterskin. Faylinn drank a little of the cold fresh water and handed the water skin to Elwin who handed it back to the dwarf, "Thank you," Faylinn said faintly. And the dwarf sighed, "We know what you've been through. I'm sorry. But you're safe now,"

And Gideon smiled at her, "We're going to bring you to a place where you'll be safe and where you can fresh yourself up, and where all your questions of who you are will be answered," And Faylinn nodded, "Thank you,"
And Gideon smiled, "You don't have to thank me. Come, my child. Let's go,"

Meanwhile in The North Elven Kingdom, Eldrin had been summoned to meet his father in the throne hall.

"Father, you summoned for me," Eldrin said as he entered the throne room. The Elven King turned to his son, "Thelmar requests someone from every Kingdom to come to his meeting in The Land of Rivers. You will represent The North Elves Kingdom and bring back 'The Light' to our Kingdom," And Eldrin looked at his father confused, "You want me to kidnap her?," And Evindal shook his head, "Of course not. I would never asks something brutally as that of you. I want you to make her fall in love with you and invite her to come with you back home again," And Eldrin swallowed, "Father, you can't ask that of me! She will be completely heartbroken when she finds out I tricked her,"
"Good! Then she won't be a problem!,"Evindal said, "Now saddle your horse and get ready to leave. Your guard is waiting for you,"
And Evindal went passed his son and walked out of the throne room.

Eldrin sighed and looked down and went to get ready to leave.
He wore grey green clothes. Grey elven boots and a grey green cloak.
As weapons, he had his silvery green bow and quiver on his back. And then he had two silvery elven daggers and a long white knife in his belt. In his golden long blonde hair he had two small braids on each side of his head that went together with a little bigger braid that was braided on the back of his head. But the rest of long blonde his hair was released and went down his shoulders.

Eldrin said goodbye to his mother and sister.
"Eldrin, my son, promise you'll be careful,"Elanor said. And Eldrin smiled at his mother, "I promise," And Elanor hugged him. And Lorielle smiled at her brother, "Watch out for dwarves, emdilo (brother)," And Eldrin smiled, "Goodbye, Lorielle," And he got on his white horse and rude away with three of The North Elven guards as company.
