Faylinn walked with her companions over the mountains. She still couldn't understand why The North Elven Prince was watching her back.
Maybe he wasn't like his father after all. They continued walking through the woods when they had left the east mountains. They walked in silence. No one said anything until Gideon finally broke the silence.
"We'll camp here for the night,"Gideon said suddenly when they reached a clearing in the woods. And Eldrin sighed, "I go and collect materials to make a fire," And Thondin turned to the elven Prince, "I'm coming with you laddie," The dwarf explained. "You do that, Eldrin and Thondin,"Gideon said, "We others can start preparing for the night,"

"So, laddie, what are you planning?,"Thondin asked suspiciously as he and Eldrin walked through the woods. Eldrin frowned at the dwarf's question, "What are you talking about? If you have a problem with elves, just say it," And Thondin snorted at him, "We both know you didn't volunteer for this mission to help Faylinn," Eldrin turned to the dwarf, "You know nothing! You have no proof! I volunteered because I felt bad for her because of what she went through! The North elves searched her orphanage. Do you know what we found? You have no idea of what I have seen! Have you seen, children! Little children murdered! Because I have! And it broke my heart to see it!," And Thondin swallowed as Eldrin turned away from the dwarf and continued through the woods.

Aranel lighted the fire and gave Faylinn something to eat.
"Thank you," She said. And she sat down a bit from the fire to eat.
Eldrin glanced at her and sighed.
He went over to her and sat down beside her,
"I'm sorry for what happened to you. Your home. Your family,"

Faylinn looked up at the elf confused, "How do you know about this? Thelmar nor Gideon said anything of what I and Elwin went through," And Eldrin sighed, "The North Elves guards searched your orphanage. I was one of them,"
And Faylinn sighed, "Then you know what happened," And Eldrin sighed, "Faylinn, I'm not like my father. I would never do anything to hurt you. You can trust me," And Faylinn smiled, "Thank you, Eldrin. I should go to sleep," And she stood up and went over to her bedroll.
Eldrin sighed. Step one, get her to trust you and befriend you, done. Step two, make her fall in love with you.

That night, Emersion couldn't sleep. He had promised Charline he would help them defeat his father and brother. He just couldn't stop thinking about her. Charline had send a message that she would tell him when he could come to The Land Of Rivers to be a part of the plan to defeat Hadrian and his older brother. But he knew that he needed to protect Charline from his father at all costs.
