~The Girl with The Light~

Chapter 6:~The Land Of Rivers~

Two days later, Faylinn and Elwin reached Vildalion (The Land of Rivers in common tongue) together with Gideon, Thondin and Dalir.
The Elven Lord Thelmar came walking down the stairs. He had long dark brown hair and brown eyes, and dark eyebrows, and he was dressed in copper coloured clothes. "Milidon, you found her," The elf Lord greeted the wizard by his fairy and elven name that means Stormcrow. Gideon smiled as he faced the elf Lord, "Yes, but it seems like The North Elves got to her first," The elven Lord turned to Faylinn, "Welcome Faylinn, Daughter of The Light," The elven Lord greeted her, "I'm Thelmar, Lord of Vildalion," And Faylinn smiled, "It's an honour, my Lord," And Thelmar smiled, "The honour is mine, my child," And Faylinn smiled. Thelmar looked at her clothes, "Now, let's get you cleaned up and get you into some new clothes. You're going to attend a council meeting tomorrow with a few other people. We're going to discuss your safety and the threat that is growing," And Faylinn nodded and smiled.

Lord Thelmar's servants showed Faylinn and Elwin to their separate chambers.

Faylinn looked around in her chambers. The chambers were beautiful. The walls were painted in white and silver.
There was a white wardrobe in the right corner of the room. And a white desk and a white dressing table was standing against the right wall and on the other side stood a white four poster bed with white silk covers and pillows. On the dressing table stood a golden jewellery box.

"My Lady, your bath is ready," One of the ladies said kindly. And they lead her into the bathroom.

They helped her get undressed and Fayline stepped into the bathtub and relaxed.
And the ladies curtsied before her and left the bathroom. One of the ladies stayed and took out a bath sponge and started to clean her.

"You haven't bathed in long, have you?,"She asked kindly. And Faylinn smiled, "I think the last time I bathed was the night before the attack on the orphanage I lived in,"
And The lady sighed,"Thelmar told us what happened to you. I'm sorry," And Faylinn smiled, "It's alright. Perhaps I can finally find my real parents now when I'm with people who seems to know who I really am,"

The lady smiled, "So, My Lady, we're finished," And Faylinn stood up in the bath and The lady wrapped her in a towel, "Now we shall get you dry and dressed for the night," The lady took out a silver silk nightgown out of the white wardrobe and Fayline put it on and sat down at the dressing table. The lady grabbed the silvery hairbrush and began to brush Faylinn's long golden blonde hair and put it up in a braid. "So, now you're ready for bed," And she left the room and closed the white silver door behind her.

Faylinn went out onto the middle big balcony and looked over The land of Rivers. The waterfalls glowed in the moonlight. She looked up at the stars, "Elwin, if you can see me whatever you are, I wanted to tell you that I think I've found where I belong. You will always be my best friend no matter what," And she went over to the bed and went to bed and laid down on the silk pillow and soon fell into a peaceful deep sleep.
