~The Girl with The Light~

Chapter 7:~The Council of Thelmar~

Next day, Faylinn had been summoned to attend Lord Thelmar's council to discuss what was going to happen next and one of each Kingdom of Shivanna would arrive to take place in the council. 
When Faylinn woke up, an elven lady of Thelmar's realm helped her get dressed.
A lady brushed her long golden blonde hair and put up some of her hair in a braid and let the rest of her hair fall down her shoulders. The ladies put on her dark blue adventure clothes with sleeves that was like a short dress with slit and a pair of black pants and a pair of black boots. "So, now you look like a warrior Princess,"One of the ladies said as Faylinn looked herself in the mirror.

Thelmar stood in his office when Gideon entered. The wizard looked in concern at the elf Lord. "You wanted to speak with me?," Gideon said. Thelmar sighed and turned towards the wizard, "Everyone is to arrive soon, my friend," Gideon noticed the concern in the elf's voice. "Thelmar, is something worrying you, my friend?," Thelmar sighed, "It's The Dark Ones. Their power is growing stronger everyday," Gideon sighed, knowing the elven Lord's words were true. "Their power is growing stronger and more darker everyday and we don't have the powers to fight them if 'The Light' does not awaken her powers," Thelmar continued sadly with worry. Gideon let out a sigh, "We found her and she needs to awaken her powers," Thelmar shook his head, "I was there, Gideon. I was there sixteen years ago when we found her," Gideon sighed, "I know. But what about The Light Elves?," Thelmar shook his head, "Aranel (Not Aranel of The Western Kingdom, this is the Light elf Aranel) will not come. He is too busy protecting his realm and reason with The Westerns. We cannot ask more of him," And he turned towards Gideon, "What about Charline, will she come?," Gideon sighed sadly, "I haven't heard from her for sixteen years since after I sent 'The Light' to Vishna. She sent me a message that she would be present on The council today," Gideon paused for a minute before he continued, "Faylinn must awaken her powers or we will never be able to defeat The Dark Ones," Thelmar glanced out of the window and nodded, "It's time to begin the meeting,"  And they left the office. 

Outside Thelmar's homely great house, Eldrin arrived to The Land of Rivers and got off his horse and looked around as his guards got off their horses. Thondin stepped out and looked suspiciously at The Elven Prince. He didn't trust him to protect Faylinn for a second. He knew what The Elven Prince's father had wanted to do with Faylinn 16 years ago and he would keep a close eye on the elven Prince. 
Charline arrived with her escort and her guards. The White Witch was dressed in a white long dress with long silver white sleeves and she wore a pair of silver slippers and white gloves. As accessories, she wore a silvery necklace with a silvery diamond, a pair of silvery diamond earrings, and a circlet silvery tiara with hanging diamonds. Her dark blue eyes glancing at her guards.
One of her guards escorted her up the stairs into Thelmar's great house and halls. "My Lady Charline," Thelmar greeted the powerful Witch of The North. Charline smiled, "My Lord Thelmar, ti lo denaman," (it's been a long time) Thelmar smiled kindly, "It's an honour to have you here," "The honour is mine. The Light must be protected at all costs," Charline declared and turned towards Gideon. "Gideon," She smiled, "The Lady Silvianna sends greetings," Gideon smiled, "My Lady," Thelmar showed them the way towards the council. "Let's begin,"

The council had gathered. And Lord Thelmar showed Faylinn to sit beside Gideon.
Faylinn felt her hands shaking a little as she noticed The North Elven Prince glancing at her.

Thelmar stood up from his seat,
"We've gathered her today because of Faylinn, Daughter of The Light's safety,"Thelmar began, "The Dark Wizard has returned. And that means both Faylinn and whole Shivanna is in great danger. Faylinn needs to awake her powers. But to do that, she needs to travel to The Hall of Light which lies far away in The North," "She can't travel there alone. She needs protection,"The human crown Prince Aranel with dark hair and green eyes of The Western Kingdom said. "That is entirely true, Aranel,"Gideon said. Charline sighed, "The Dark Ones powers are growing. We have to join together," "I'll be dead if I leave Faylinn's fate in a North elf,"Thondin growled. Thelmar looked at The sixteen year old girl, "Faylinn, are you sure you are ready for this?,"He asked gently. And Gideon looked at her. Faylinn stood up and nodded, "Yes, I'm ready to do what you ask," And Thelmar nodded, "So, who shall fallow you at this journey?," And Gideon stood up, "I shall fallow you, child, as long as you dare. You have my protection," Charline smiled at the wizard. Aranel went over to Faylinn and knelt before her, "With my life, honour and death I can protect you. You have my sword," "And my bow!,"Eldrin surprisingly cut in. "And my ax!,"Thondin said. Thelmar smiled, "Seems like you have your guardians, Faylinn," Charline swallowed secretly. She could feel the darkness watching them. She had seen what The Dark Ones were capable of. Hopefully, she could at least reason with one of them who she knew was not pure evil. But she wondered, did he still feel for her?

Thelmar went over to Faylinn who stood alone, glancing at Elwin, "We will take care of him. He will be safe here in The Land of Rivers till you return," And Faylinn nodded. The Elven Lord looked up at her, "Faylinn, do not be afraid of being brave. You're more powerful than you know. And you're immortal. But be careful," And Fayline nodded.

Faylinn left The Land of Rivers with her new companions. And she looked at Gideon,
"Gideon, which way is The Hall of Light?,"She whispered. "This way,"Gideon whispered back and showed her to the right. Faylinn glanced at Eldrin who walked last. Could she really trust him?
