Back again with Tayler Holder

Chapter 4: Her

"Oh my gosh turn this shit off!" I heard from behind me. The voice sounded familiar. A little too familiar.
I turned my head to be met with the one and only Vinnie Hacker. And it appeared that he was just as surprised as I was. Uh oh.

"What are you doing here?" We both said to each other surprised.
"I asked first!" We both said, again together.
All the attention was now on us.
"I mean it's great to see you. You look good. Great." Vinnie said sheepishly.
"Thanks I guess. I mean you wouldn't be so surprised if you didn't block me on...EVERYTHING!" I said irritated.
"Well things got complicated." He said in a pathetic attempt to defend himself.
"Is that it?" I said more disappointed than anything.

"Is what it?" A blonde girl came out and gave Vinnie a kiss as she wrapped her arm around him. It was a very familiar blonde girl. It was Sammy. Vinnie's so called 'rebound'. The garden was flooded by another silence before Tayler's voice could be heard.
"GRACE GET HERE RIGHT NOW! You're in so much trouble!" I heard Tay shout as he came out to the garden.
"What for? I've only just got to this country!" I said confused.
"I don't want to hear it! Get in my car and wait there. It's parked out front." He said to me handing me his keys as I walked past him.
"Sorry for having to cut this whole thing short guys but I've got some parental duties to deal with." Tayler said pointing to me as he followed me out.

I got in his car and waited for about 5 minutes whilst Tayler did a quick interview with the guys from what I'm guessing is Hollywood fix. During those 5 minutes I was thinking of every possible thing I could of done wrong. What could it have been? I mean I ain't been in the country for long enough to cause chaos. Tayler finally got in the car.
"You're welcome."was all he said before turning on the engine and backing out of the driveway.
"Wait what?" I said confused.
"I mean it was obvious you were drowning. You didn't know what to do with Vinnie and his new girl. So I pulled out my acting skills and got you out of this one." He said as he smiled over to me.
"You really are the best." I said sighing a sigh of relief. I was relieved I wasn't actually in trouble and also that I got out of that situation.
"Anything for my sis." He said as he kept his eyes on the road. It wasn't long before we got home.

As Tayler opened the front door I was met with 3 creepy smiles from josh, Noah and Blake.
"What can I do for you lads?" I asked confused.
Suddenly they ran over to me and pulled me in to the biggest bear hug.
"We didn't believe Bryce when he said you were back, we had to come see for ourselves!" Josh gushed.
"Oh how we've missed you!" Noah said.
"I've missed you guys too but it'd be nice if I could breathe." I said from in between the guys as they stepped back. At that very moment Bryce came in from the garden.
"Yo guys we're starting up a game of football in the garden. Wanna play?" He asked more to me than the lads.
"Nah I'll give this one a miss. But have fun tho?" I shouted as the boys ran off to play.

I walked upstairs to my room and sat on my bed taking it all in. My bedroom door was open and I could hear humming. Zach walked past the door whilst eating a bag of crisps. He saw me and invited himself in.
"Heyy squirt!" He said as he sat next to me.
"Why are you always eating our food?" I asked him folding my arms.
"Why are you always asking questions?" He said mimicking my stance.
"How are you Zach?" I sighed as I went further up my bed with my back against the headboard.
"I'm pretty good Mary Poppins." He said joining me as he threw the now empty bag of crisps in my bin.
"You know, sometimes I wonder why people do things." I said as I looked at him.
"Is this about Vinnie?" He asked me as he put his arm around me and I put my head on his shoulder.
"Sort of." I admitted to him.
"Well sometimes people do things out of hurt, or anger." He tried to explain.
"Wait so you think that he's angry with me?" I asked Zach as I cuddled up closer to him.
"Who knows. The only way to find out is to ask him yourself." He said as he looked down at me.
"Well then I guess I'll never know." I said as I made eye contact with him.
"What's the deal with him and Sammy? I thought they broke up just before I left?"
"So did we all. But about 2 weeks after you left they got back together and it'll soon be their 1 year anniversary." Zach said as I felt a pain in my chest.
The whole 2 week thing made sense because Vinnie blocked me about 2 weeks after I left. I can't believe he moved on so quick.
"Neither can I. And yes you did say that out loud." Zach said reading the shocked expression on my face.
"The only way to fix things is to talk it out." He said seriously.
"Well I guess things are about to stay broken." I said as my eyes grew heavier and I fell asleep in Zach's arms. I felt a soft kiss on my forehead before I was consumed by darkness.
