A/N: Happy New Year! Let's start the year off right with more Naegami fanfic. Cheers!

After that night, the group didn't talk about it in the open anymore. After they went back to the dorms, they found Junko waiting in the main lobby, where she started to laugh and walk back toward her room. But the fun didn't stop there.

Around two in the morning, Makoto heard a door open and close in the hallway. Most likely, it was Togami just getting back; Makoto didn't realize how long he stayed out. The next morning, he approached Togami, "Hey, you got back late last night."

"Were you listening for my door or something?" Byakuya asked.

"No, I just happened to wake up when I heard a door open and I assumed it was you." Makoto couldn't place the sudden worry he had. Working late into the morning like that holds a lot of unwelcome surprises from the stories he's heard from other students.

"You don't need to worry about me. I can handle myself." Byakuya took a sip of coffee, keeping his voice low.

"I know." The conversation lulled. They couldn't discuss anything about last night here, so Makoto stood from his seat. "I guess I'll see you later."

"Ask for Shiro."

"What?"

"Tonight. Ask for Shiro." Byakuya didn't say anymore and went back to reading the newspaper he set aside.

"Ah, back again? Where're your ladies?" The security guard chuckled.

"Uh, you know, home," Makoto said, handing the guard his ID again. The guard chuckled again and opened the door. The loud girl from the other day wasn't there tonight; instead, a shyer girl in a black cocktail dress examined Makoto's idea and nodded.

"Are you looking for anyone in particular?" Her voice was flat as if she didn't want to be working right now.

"Uh, Shiro?"

The hostess' brow lifted in surprise. "Oh! Alright, well, follow me then." The girl led Makoto farther into the room than the last time he was here. The staff was dressed less elaborate this time, but everything they wore was covered in shiny materials. Light was reflecting from every sequin, rhinestone, and metallic piece in the room. "This is one of our seclusion rooms. Typically, they are used for reservations, but it's not every day that a host tells us to keep an eye out for a specific customer."

"Oh, well, thank you." Makoto sat down. A beaded curtain separated him from the rest of the room. A small chandelier above him provided soft, dim light. While he was looking around, the girl had disappeared. He pulled out his cell phone under the table ('no photos or cell phones' was another policy the girls learned the other night), and started to text Kyoko, but decide against it. There wasn't anything new to tell her, except that he was nervous and couldn't understand why he came back alone.

"Hey," a voice said. "Apologies for the wait," Togami opened the curtain and set a tray down on the table. Similar to the girl who had greeted Makoto, Byakuya was wearing black jeans, a loose-fitting white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and enough rings and necklaces to blind an airplane pilot.

"Oh, no, I wasn't waiting long." Makoto tucked his phone back into his pocket. "Are these for us?" He pointed at the drinks and food.

Togami nodded, "I mean, I know we both ate just a few hours ago."

"I appreciate it," Makoto took one of the drinks and nearly drank a fourth of the cup. "Sorry, I'm a little nervous?"

Togami laughed, "Yeah, I figured. I'm actually a bit surprised you showed up."
