"What?" Sierra's dad asked walking over to his wife. He snaked his arm around her waist and watched the tv. Sierra and Bailey left the family room to put their bags in their bedroom. "Do you think this murder has something to do with the one at school?" Bailey asked as she sat on the bed. "No way, we are thousands of miles away from school," Sierra said reassuringly. "Alright," Bailey said. The girls walked out of their room and saw that Sierra's parents were still standing in front of the tv. Sierra felt chills go up her arm.
"The only clue that the detectives have found is a single bloody handprint," the News Lady said. Out of the corner of her eye, Sierra saw Bailey look over at her."Alright, let's get this vacation started!" Sierra's dad said as he turned off the TV. "What are we gonna do first?" Sierra asked excitedly. "Well we can go swimming, go to the arcade, play mini golf, or go shopping," Her mom answered counting the choices with her fingers. "Swimming!" Cried Bailey and Sierra before dashing to their room. "I guess that's settled," Sierra's dad said chuckling, "Alex, go put your bathing suit on," said his mom. Alex didn't move, he had sat down on the couch and was playing on his handheld. "Now!" His dad said grabbing the handheld from Alex's hands. "Fine," Alex said glumly as he dragged his body off the couch and to his room. Sierra's mom had already changed Sophie into a frilly pink bathing suit. She put her in front of the TV to watch Bubble Guppies. Sierra and Bailey both walked out of their room wearing matching bathing suits. They were blue and black zebra print. "Girls, go grab some towels and we'll be ready to go," Sierra's dad said going into his room to change into a bathing suit. Once everyone had gotten into a bathing suit, the family was ready to go. They walked through the hall to the elevator. Sierra's mom held Sophie in her right arm and a bag of towels in her other. Her dad pressed the button for the pool level. Sierra felt the elevator begin to drop. But no later than 2 seconds, the elevator stopped. "What happened?" Sierra asked concerned. "The elevator just stopped," Her dad said beginning to frantically press the pool floor level button. "Why don't we just call for help?" Sierra's mom said pulling out her cell phone. A few minutes later, the elevator began to descend. "Yay!" Sophie cried clapping her hands together. Sierra watched as the elevator made it's way to the pool level. Waiting for the family was a group of workers and the manager. "Is everyone alright?" He asked walking up to the family. "Yep, we're just glad we're back on the ground again!" Sierra's dad said laughing. "What made the elevator stop?" Bailey asked the manager. "Well it seems that someone turned the elevator off, we're not sure if it was an accident or on purpose but we can ensure your that it won't happen again," The manager said,"excuse me but I have to get back to my work,". The manager walked off talking to himself. "Let's hit the pools!" Sierra's mom said smiling.*Hey guys! What do you think of the chapter?
