"That's the silliest thing I've ever heard," Bailey said to Sierra. "But it's true, I show up at the school and watch him murder someone. Then he follows us here because he thinks I saw his face and I'm gonna tell the police," Sierra replied crossing her arms over her chest. "But why would he murder someone in the hotel," Bailey asked. "I don't know, but he's after me," Sierra said grabbing Bailey's arms. "Chill out, no one's coming for you," Bailey said. "Whatever," Sierra mumbled. The elevator stopped and the girls got off on their floor. Sierra fished the hotel key out of her swim bag and unlocked the door. They dumped their bags on the floor and went to figure out what clothes they wanted to wear. "I can get a shower in my parents bathroom," Sierra said grabbing some navy shorts and a navy blue tank top. The girls went into a bathroom and got ready to go to dinner. Once she was done, Sierra opened the door to the bathroom. She noticed that Bailey had not come out of the bathroom. She went into the kitchen to grab a glass of water when there was a knock at the door. "Maybe dad forgot his key," Sierra said walking to the door. She opened the door but saw no one. She stepped out into the hallway and looked down the hallway. Still, she saw no one. Sierra looked down the hallway one last time, and looked down at her feet. She noticed a note thrown in the ground. She picked it up and closed the door. Her eyes widened as she read the note:

Sierra,
I know you know who I am. And I know who you are. I cannot risk you giving out my identity. Either come to the food court at 9:30 or risk your family's lives.

It was not signed with a name, but with a bloody handprint. Sierra's heart began to beat against her chest. She couldn't believe what she was reading. Sierra quickly shoved the letter in her pocket as the bathroom door opened. "Who was at the door?" Bailey asked blow drying her hair. "Nobody, just a confused person," Sierra said giving her a fake smile. Bailey shrugged her shoulders and went back to blow drying her hair. Sierra went and sat on the couch. She grabbed the tv remote and tried to find something to take her mind off of the note. She flipped through animal channels, news channels, and home improvement channels. Finding nothing interesting, she turned off the tv. Sierra froze when she heard a knock at the door. "What if he's come early?" Sierra asked herself as she stared at the door. Sierra couldn't get herself to stand up so she watched the door as the handle turned.
