Destined To Meet++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Author's POV
"Wait!" Aíden called out, stopping Jungkook from walking away from his house porch as the male turned his head and looked behind him, gazing at his ex-fianceé in shame. "What's wrong?" He raised a question as he watched the older fidget his finger where their engagement ring was placed.
Oh before you are going to be confused, Jungkook doesn't have one. Just like the rules of no sex until they married, he would not have an engagement ring unless it was their wedding ring. Might be the weirdest request of Aíden's parents but he is certainly grateful for it because if he had sex with Jimin while wearing his engagement ring; it will only make it worst… God, Jungkook couldn't imagine how guilty he would feel compared to what he felt that night.
He watched Aíden stare at the ring a little bit longer before pushing it out from his finger and holding it out to Jungkook, making him raise his eyebrows in confusion. "Here. You bought this with your own money and I know it's hella expensive. Keep it." Aíden mumbled as Jungkook glanced at the ring in the other's hand, seeing the beautiful shining piece of emerald just like Aíden's eyes.
"No. I wanted you to keep it. I bought that special for you as it matched your eyes… Or if you badly don't want it, just take it to a pawn shop and spend the money on a vacation or something else." Jungkook spat out sincerely, unexpectedly making Aíden chuckle out loud while the others just looked at him lost. "Jungkook, I never will pawn something like this just to spend the money on vacation but okay, I keep it since you don't want it." The older teased, earning his lookalike bunny smile.
Aíden is truly an angel… Jungkook can only hope whoever the older dates after, will treat him right. Unlike him.
"Okay then. Take care." He greeted him goodbye which received a soft smile and a nod from Aíden after as he turned around and grabbed his wheel-bag holder before walking towards his car, dragging the beg along. Not wasting any time, he shoved the heavy thing on top of his back passenger seat before closing the door and placed himself at the driver's seat which he let out a loud sigh of relief after. Well, it's not worse than what he thought would happen.
He thought that Aíden would go crazy and start throwing things at him or even slap the shit out of him for being a cheater or worse like any dramas he watched; the betrayed character will shove the cheater out of their house– or in certain cases; begged the cheater to don't leave them but when they did, the betrayed character will begin to plan whatever revenge they have. But none of it happened and Jungkook couldn't be more grateful for it all. Guess reality and drama are totally different huh…
And just when he was about to thank God for letting this happen smoothly, the cruel reality of Jimin didn't love him, hit him right in the face. Jungkook cursed out loud by the actuality, wondering why his life is so full of bullshit. Once again like any other drama where the cheater will return to the person they love and live happily after, Jungkook's life, unfortunately, will not be like that.
Instead in his story, the cheater even needs to make the person they love, love them back. Oh, how complicated.
"So what do I have to do now? I'm sure this off-engagement thingy will appear on the news tomorrow morning..." Jungkook mumbled as he placed both of his hands on the steering wheel before slowly moving all along it; feeling the cold leather against his fingertips before leaning his forehead on the middle where there is a decoration written clearly; Tesla, in a not so deep nor thick kind of way. Just perfect to every one that passed the driver's window to know the car brand.
