He Just Needs To Wait A Little Bit More.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Author's POV

It was already night where everyone was heading to their home to have dinner with their loved ones... On the other hand, the young CEO Jungkook was still holding a bunch of paperwork in his grip as he checked the resume quietly; totally focused on reading them to the point he forgot Jimin who was waiting for him in the lobby area.

Patiently waiting for his appearance so that they could have their first dinner-date together.

It's been twenty minutes yet Jimin is still calmly waiting for the other's arrival. Yes, he could just call the younger one but he didn't want to, simply because he wanted to see how important their first date was to Jungkook exactly. He's not stupid, he also aware of the fact that the other was busy and probably already forgotten about it but let's not be in denial; when something you claimed to love the most, you wouldn't forget no matter what the situations are.

So Jimin stood there, hope still high for the other to come down.

5 minutes…

10 minutes…

15 minutes…

Minutes have passed yet Jungkook was nowhere to be seen in front of him, making him sigh in response as he glanced around the floor and chuckled pathetically to himself. It would be a lie if he said that something inside him didn't ache because, for the love of the hell, it is. He already expected this to happen but why does he still feel hurt by it all? And more importantly, since when the younger actions could actually hurt him when all these years they don't?

Jimin scoffed loudly at his anticipation on the other. What did he expect? The younger to show his love and bring him somewhere sweet with candles and roses all over the floor? What a pathetic imagination he has. "Whatever. It's not like I love him anyways…" Jimin stood up and made his way to the building entrance; decided to go home after working all day long, trying so hard to convince himself that he didn't feel anything about all of this.

What a waste… He rather denies his feelings than admits them.

He scoffed mockingly at himself, kept repeating the words he didn't feel anything but his actions said otherwise when he walked painfully slowly to the exit with the hope that Jungkook would appear in front of him before he left. Yeah, the irony isn't it? But he couldn't help what he felt. Though he said he didn't care, though he said the date meant nothing to him, the little mistake younger's made was enough to make his inside aching badly; proving that he indeed cared and anticipated their first date.

Jimin didn't know he was starting to cry until he felt a string of liquid fall on his cheeks before sliding down; wetting them as he blinked a few times before holding out his hand and wiping the tears away and looking at the stain on his fingers with a raised eyebrow. "Why are you starting to cry about this?" He asked to no one, still looking at the shiny liquid for a moment before wiping them away with his clothes; finding it stupid of him to do so.

"God, you're so stupid to cry about this. Get a hold on yourself!!" He blamed himself as he took a deep breath while closing his eyes as he opened them later only to see the exit is two steps away from him. Locking up his feelings in a box, he put a forced smile as he walked out of the building; greeted instantly by the cool wind in return. His eyes traveled all over the area outside the building until it stopped at the bright moon which was reflecting its light on his face beautifully as he remembered what SeokJin said earlier.
