Freddy led you and Marie to the elevator and pressed the third floor. The ride was quite, but is was a comfortable silence. As the elevator gave its iconic PING, everyone got off. Music was blasting off the walls as colourful lights danced around. In the middle of a small entrance hall stood a golden statue that contained all of the animatronics, including you.

You smiled as you saw yourself included. "This is the west arcade. It has plenty of games and music," Freddy introduced. You nodded amazed. "Look at the dance floor!" Marie squealed all excited. "Can we, can we!" She begged. You glanced up at Marie. "No, was if you got hurt, or you overwork yourself. The fact that we are even here is pushing it." Freddy laughed with a big grin, "She'll be fine. Besides she won't be dancing alone." "What do you mean," you asked as you got Marie off your shoulders. "I'll protect her. Come Marie," Freddy answered while taking hold of the twelve year old's oxygen tank.

"Wait-" But they were already on the dance floor. You watched with extreme worry, picking at your (f/c) and (sf/c) nail polish. In the middle of a crowd of children the two danced. Well Freddy danced. Marie stood on his big metal feet her hand holding his arm as he slowly moved to the music. She had a huge smile on her face.

Poor thing. She probably isn't allowed to dance at home.

Freddy had a smile similar to Marie, but his eyes were wide open watching and making sure she was safe. His hand that held onto the tank was kept close so that no kid could trip on it, while his other held Marie on his feet.

You sighed, holding a hand to your head as that pain came around again.

I need to have this checked.

Leaning on a wall, you watched them dance. Soon your mind started to think. Freddy is too kind and soft to have done anything to you. Could he really be the one that did something to you? Or was it another like him? He was kind and caring and didn't force you to trust him. He is probably the best person... bear you know. You watched and Freddy spun around holding Marie close. You smiled. There is no way Freddy could have hurt you.

Pushing yourself up onto your feet, you made your way to them and joined in on the dancing. You didn't do much mainly spun and tapped your foot. Looking up on the stage, a huge spider robot was rocking the DJ.

Holy flapjacks how did I miss him?

He flipped a disk up in the air before clicking it in. A tune hit your ears and you couldn't help but close your eyes to listen to it.

'Way up in the air, your finally Free.

And you can stay up there, right next to me.'

You felt a tab on your leg so you opened your eyes to find Marie. With a grim you grabbed her hands with one paw, and her tank with the other. She stood on your feet and you both started to dance to the music.

'-then its time for you to shine.

Brighter than a shooting star, so shine no matter where you are. Tonight'

The music surrounded you to as you spun and stepped to the music. In that moment it felt as if Marie was just like every other kid. Free and healthy. As you danced, you could feel Freddy watch you. You could sense him watching every movement as you moved to the music with Marie. Taking a deep breath, you closed your eyes.

Try not to look like an idiot, okay me.

Through the entire song, Freddy watched you two. You didn't know whether he was worried about Marie or if it was something else.

As the song came to its end, Marie got off of your feet and yawned. Taking her out of the crowd, you bent to her level and asked, "Ready to go back?" She gave a nod and got onto your shoulders. "Lets go," Freddy led the way to the elevator with a happy bounce in his step. Then everything clicked. "You knew she would want to dance didn't you?" you asked as you entered the metal box. Freddy gasped dramatically, "Me, scheming up such an evil plan? Never." You couldn't help but giggle along with Freddy.

Making it back to Marie's mother both you and Freddy had an earful. She was screaming and yelling that we didn't do what we were told. Marie kept on trying to save us, but her mother told her to hush. It took Marie's mother to start insulting Freddy to make you lie. In a calm, but angered voice, you told her that you three took Marie to the staff bathrooms as all the guests ones where full and you didn't want Marie to stand in a long line. That shut up Marie's mother.

Both you and Freddy waved Marie goodbye as she left. You silently wished she would return, but knowing her mother she would be stuck in the house forever. For the few reaming hours, you stuck close to Freddy as you interacted with other kids. Often the children would ask you a bunch of questions asking who you were, since when were you apart of the band and so on. Honestly it got quite annoying, and you were so happy when it was closing time.

You and Freddy were walking to the Atrium to meet the others. Freddy walked close next to you. "I.. I wanted to apologise," he spoke as he stopped walking. "What? Why? You didn't do anything wrong," you turned to him. Whatever was bothering him was taking a toll on his bubbly exterior as he seemed down. "I was late and left you with that... unkind woman for so long. And I feel awful for forcing you to agree with taking Marie to the arcade and tricking you into letting her dance. And I want you to know I wouldn't have let her go anywhere if you weren't there and... and-" You placed a paw on his shoulder making him look down at you. "I was actually about to thank you," you smiled, trying to make him be himself again. "Thank me... why?" "Because if it wasn't for you I would have kept her couped up. Sometimes with my programing I forget that kids need to be kids, and the fact that she is fighting a disease makes her just as strong as any other person. You helped me see that. So thank you."

You felt a spark as Freddy hugged you with tears in his eyes. It was an unknown but pleasant feeling. You hugged back gladly. With you tail ever so lightly wagging back and forth.
