"Alright!" Heather yelled, when everyone was finished eating.
"Today, the boys are cleaning up, while the girls swim!"
"See ya! Have fun cleaning!" I said to Evan. He gave me a pouty face and I laughed and ran away.I got ready for the lake, and when Heather said it was clear, we all went down the steps to the lake. The whole time, Alyssa and I sat down on the bridge that led to the diving board, and slide, talking about Bryce, Jay, Evan, and Ross.
When swimming was finished, it was the boys turn, while we had our craft. Today it was a Popsicle stick box that we were decorating. Mine was white polka dots, with Mint green as the background. I thought it was pretty cool. When crafts were over, it was free time, so we all raced to the game room.
After what seemed like forever, Evan and the boys came in, and Evan said he wanted to talk with me.
"What's up?" I asked him.
"Do you....like Ross?"
"Ummmmm...well, it's kinda complicated. Why do you ask?"
"Uh, just wondering...heheh" he chuckled nervously.
"We'll talk about it later. Okay?" I asked him. He just nodded. I hope I didn't make him mad or anything. I wonder why he was so nervous.....wait....does he....? Like me? Is it really possible? I need to talk to Kylie and Alyssa about this.
"Wait....so he just pulled you over, and asked you if you liked Ross?" Alyssa asked me. We decided we were gonna go to the cabin to talk. I nodded.
"And you said...?" Kylie asked, gesturing with her hands for me to continue talking.
"I just told him it was complicated, and that I would tell him later."
"Yeah, that's probably best. It seems they both really like you, so you should probably try and figure out who you like more, before you say anything to either of them." Alyssa said.
"If you ask me, I think that they should both forget about you and go for me." Mikayla said, grinning. I clenched my fists, and was ready to get her for that one. Who does she think she is butting into our conversation like that like she owns the place? Ugh. She annoys me so much. I was about to mess up that pretty little face of hers but Alyssa and Kylie held me back.
"Are you serious? What makes you think you can just barge in here, and butt into conversations you weren't a part of in the first place?"
"This is MY cabin, too. I have every right to be in it." She said.
"That may be true, but how would you know what we were talking about anyway?" A wave of nervousness washed over her face.
"Okay. You've done some pretty low things in your life time, but eavesdropping on people's private conversations has got to be in your top 5 lowest. Also, trying to steal someone else's crush? Really? They had them first. You just don't do that to a friend. Isn't that in your little "Girl Code" or something?" Kylie said, stepping in. Mikayla finally looked defeated. She stormed out of the cabin, and then I got up from my bed, and back to the game room, Kylie and Alyssa following. When I got back, Evan, Mikayla, and Ross were all talking. You have got to be kidding me!! Does that girl know when to stop? Ugh. This is not going to end well.
