Chapter 2

The next day Shehnaaz took her backpack and house keys and made her way out. She wasn't fully recovered but since she had already missed a week, she had to go to college. She has always been an obedient student. No professor had any bad impression about her.

She took an auto and reached her college. When she got down from the auto and made her way towards the college gate, she saw a freshman couple. The girl was hurt under her knees and her boyfriend was insisting to let him carry her but the girl was embarrassed because she knew the whole college campus would notice them and she didn't want to be the centre of attention at all!

The scenario reminded Shehnaaz ofsomething.

Flashback :
"Rony put me down everyone is staring at us", young Shehnaaz shouted on her boyfriend. But the boy didn't pay any heed towards her words.
"Listen baby u are hurt and I'm not the cold hearted boyfriend to let you go on your own", Rony said with a smirk.
"But everyone is staring at us I'm feeling embarrassed" Shehnaaz said making Rony stop on his foot. He put her down with a thud! Her ankles were bleeding, her mouth let out a small sniff and looked at Rony who was fuming with anger.

"So now u are embarrassed to be seen with your boyfriend huh ?" said Rony making Shehnaaz surprise.
"No Rony I didn't mean that I was just-" "ENOUGH!" He didn't even let her complete and shouted.

"U know what ? U go on your own then u will realise my value." saying that he went away from there leaving the seventeen year old Shehnaaz. She cursed herself for acting so stupid and sat on the ground crying.

End of flashback.

"Shehnaaz"
Her thoughts broke when she heard her name. She turned and saw Shruti was panting while standing there. Shehnaaz looked at her confused.

Shruti: I have been calling your name from the other side of the road but u didn't reply instead you seem lost somewhere. What happened ?

Shehnaaz: Nothing, now let's go or else we will be late.

Shruti: Oh yeah it's already 10. Let's go!

Shruti dragged Shehnaaz with her and entered the college. They sat on their respective seats. Shruti got busy talking to her other friends while Shehnaaz got busy listening to music with earphones plugged in and closed her eyes as it was still 20 mins left for the class to start. While she was engrossed in the music she felt someone banging on her desk. She quickly pulled out her earphones and found her senior Armaan staring at her. Armaan was in the 3rd year and since he saw Shehnaaz on the very first day he kinda got obsessed with her. He even proposed her on the 1st month but she rejected still he was trying very hard to pursue her.

Armaan: Hey darling I heard you got into an accident so I thought to check upon you.

Shehnaaz: I'm fine now you may go to your class.

Armaan: Not so soon darling. Why don't we have coffee together ?

Shehnaaz: Listen Armaan I have told you more than once that I'm not interested.

Armaan: But I can make you.

He said and was going to grab her hand but the bell rang indicating the start of the class.
