Rita: Sidharth take Shehnaaz home it's already late it will not be safe for her to go alone like that.

Rita said as soon as the function came to an end. Everyone was leaving and only people left in the venue was both the families. Sidharth smiled brightly at his mother.

Sidharth: Of course maa, I would have taken her home even if you didn't ask me to.

Rita smiled at her son. She went closer and pulled his cheeks making him groan.

Sidharth: Maa I'm not a kiddo anymore why are you pulling my cheeks ? You should wait for your future grandchildren and then pull their cheeks.

Rita: Hein ? Today was just the engagement son and next month is the wedding. Their is a long way to go for children.

Sidharth nodded in understanding. Rita now whispered in his ears making him shock for a while.

Rita: So how long has it been with Shehnaaz ?

Sidharth: What are you saying maa ?

Rita: You know it very well son. Now tell me what's going on between you two ?

Sidharth: Nothing maa, we are just friends.

Sidharth said and looked to the side where Shehnaaz was standing and having a conversation with Vivan and Shruti. She giggled making Sidharth smile which didn't go unnotice by Rita. She went and now pulled his ears.

Sidharth: Aaaaaahh! Maa what did I do now ?

Rita: You are lying to my face and asking me what did you do ? I want the truth right now.

Sidharth: Maa I have already told you the truth.

Rita: Oh really ? I have never seen a friend looking at another friend and shyingly smile. I won't leave your ear until you tell me the truth.

Sidharth held her hand which was holding his ear and looked at her pleading to leave his ear but Rita was in no mood to let him go today.

Sidharth: Ok ok I will answer your every question but please leave my ear.

Rita: Okay then.

She left his ear and he rubbed his ear to soothe the pain. She now kept her hand on his shoulder and looked at him lovingly.

Rita: You love her ?

Sidharth scratched his neck and smiled like a fool.

Sidharth: Hmm.

Rita finally sighed in relief and smiled at him.

Rita: Good choice.

Sidharth: So you don't have any problem with her ?

Rita: You are such a fool why should I have any problem with her ? I have loved her since I laid my eyes on her. By the way have you confessed yet ?

Sidharth: No maa not yet I wanted to give her space but I guess I can't wait anymore I will tell her eventually.

Rita: That's like my son.

Sidharth: I know right.

He said still keeping his head down and smiling. Rita pushed him towards Shehnaaz.

Rita: Why are you still standing and smiling ? Go and take her home.

Sidharth: Yes going going.

Sidharth ran his hand through his hair to set it. He then walked up to Shehnaaz who was still engrossed in talking. She found him walking towards her and think of running away. She suddenly looked at her phone.
