chapter 30

Y/n's pov

After we finished laughing we go to the common room.

"Hey guys this is y/n my new friend. Harry, Ron you met her yesterday at the party with umm.... pansy" hermione says

"Didn't pansy kiss lila" Ron asks

Ginny goes over and slaps him on the head

"Ow that hurt" Ron whines

"It's fine but yes she did and she wasn't even drunk so it's her fault" I say

"You go girl" I hear someone say

I turn around and see the twins. I laugh and they walk over

"You're Fred and you're George aren't you" I ask

"You're one of the first-"

"-People to get it correct first time" thee twins day

We all laugh and we go to the great hall. Before we go in I stand in front of the doors and sigh.

"You can sit with us if you want" Hermione says

I nod and ginny stands next to me. We walk in and I look at the slytherin table. I see pansy with lila. Pansy looks over at me and I look down while walking to the gryffindor table. We sit down and we all start talking about anything random.

"Hey guys I think i'll go to the library" I say

"I'll come with you" hermione smiles

"Me too" ginny says

"We have quidditch practice to go to. Ginny you know what you're doing so you can do what ever you want today" Harry states

"Let's all meet up later then" I suggest

They all agree and we go our different ways. Me, hermione and ginny sit down at a table. I get a book on transfiguration and sit back down next to hermione.

After a little while someone come over to us.

"Can I speak to y/n please"

I look up and see pansy. I look at hermiome and ginny and I can see they're annoyed with pansy. I look back at pansy and nod. I get up and she takes me to the back of the library so no one can hear. I lean my back on the wall and fold my arms.

"Look I'm sorry all this happened but I thought it was the best way to stop our relationship. I changed during the summer a lot and I became more confident with who I am. You helped me y/n/n. I will love you forever no matter what but i think we are the right people but at the wrong time if you get what I mean" she explains

I chuckle with tears threatening to fall and so does she.

"I believe that too. Just know I will forever love you no matter who you're with. If you need me I'll be there for you always. I'm still gonna promise to protect you no matter what. But as you said we are the right people but at the wrong time. I hope in another life we will be together again. I love you pans." I state

"Can we still be friends" she asks

"Of course but come here"

I open my arms for one last hug as lovers. She smiles and hugs me back

"Can I have one last kiss" I question

She nods and leans in. After a couple seconds I pull away.

"I'm gonna miss having you by my side all the time" I smile sadly

"Yeah me too" she replies

"Now pansy will you do me the honour of unbecoming my girlfriend and be my friend" I bow

She giggles

"Of course" she curtsies

We laugh and start to walk back. We say our goodbyes and I sit back down next to hermione. Tears are still in my eyes and I turn to her.

"Oh come here" she says holding her arms out

I lay my head on her shoulder and cry silently. Ginny comes over and sits next to me rubbing my back. After a while I calm down. Hermione let's go of me and I turn back to face the table. I lean my head on ginnys shoulder and read my book. Ginny leans her head on top of mine and reads her book.

After a while I sit straight up.

"You okay now" hermione asks

"Yeah let's go meet the boys"
