Obsessive Marinette holder of the ladybug miraculous.
Depression Adrien hold of the Black Cat Miraculous.
Both lost eachother. It was Adrien's fault in fact. Adrien made Marinette go crazy. Now that he's better, she's still not.
They broke that deal. And Ladybug had a plan. To steal the black cat miraculous to return Adrien to her. Little did she know he was infront of her.

More Details: AU where shadowmoth/hawkmoth/mayura never existed. Where Adrien was a friend of Marinette's when she was a kid (13 years of age they are 17 in the AU) and when he died she went crazy. Francois dupont is actually a mental hospital.
And ladybug is marinette, her goal is to get chat noirs miraculous, by making him fall in love with her. Little did she know that it wasn't Adrien who died. It was Felix. Adrien is chat noir.
Adrien is in the mental hospital because he convinced himself that he was felix and Adrien died. Hes better now but Gabriel wants nothing to do with him
Marinette doesn't know that Adrien is literally down the hall from her because boys and girls can't cross paths.
