A/n: I'm about to start my villain arc. I legit spent an hour writing this chapter and it didn't save. I'm crying.

Quick remark: this story is a rollercoaster and gets a boost after chapt 32(timeskip). don't expect easy lovey dovey moments, as life is unfair. enjoy the book<3 editing the cringe out.

I woke up to someone knocking on my door several times. 7:03 am. Are you serious... Who even wakes up this early on the damn weekend.

I got up and headed to the door. As i opened it, i was shocked. Never expected this person to show up at my door. At least this early,

"Takemichi? What the hell? It's 7 in the fucking morning why are you- Hey, what's with that sad expression?" I squinted, studying his face.

He didn't say a word and burst out into tears. An awkward a silence filled the room and he was the one to break it, "So... it's really you, Y/n..."

What's with this dude. Was i too mean?

"Well no fucking shit! Who could that be other than me? Why are you crying, Takemichi?" I asked.

He didn't reply to my question. Instead, he just embraced me, which sort of made me shocked, since he never ever gotten touchy in our friendship.

"Woah mane did you miss your best friend that mu-"

"I'm so glad you're ali- you're doing alright! Please stay safe!" He pulled away and left me there dumbfounded.

Just what was this? Damn, did this boy get sick or something? I should check up on him later...

I closed the door and went back to bed. Since it was Sunday, i could enjoy my happy life till school started. And our finals were coming up soon, so i used this opportunity to sleep while i still could. But soon enough my peaceful sleep got interrupted, as i heard someone knock on the door again. It happened a few hours after Takemichi left, but i fell asleep, so it felt like minutes to me.

I swear if that's Takemichi again-

I sighed and went to my door. My jaw dropped at what i saw there,

"Holy shit, Akkun? What happened to your face? Did you get into a fight again?" I questioned, looking back and forth at his wounds.

He just laughed awkwardly. "Okay, come inside, i will treat your wounds. "The boy nodded and followed me to the living room. I grabbed the first aid kit from the kitchen and went back to him.

"Y/n, you know, you're really cute when you're worried... about me," he smiled.

"Don't be so full of yourself or i won't be treating your damn wounds," i blurted. He chuckled, and i got back to work. This whole time he kept staring at me, not looking away for a single second. "So you just gonna keep staring?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Sorry, you just look really pretty today..." He shyly said, looking away.

"I always look pretty though," i said under my breath.

Soon enough i was done with treating his wounds, so i wanted to know the answers. Who could beat him up this badly?

"Now tell me how you got these injuries".

Akkun told me how him and his friends got beaten up by some third years, and now they have to be their slaves. Kiyomasa's slaves, to be more precise.

I gritted my teeth, "These damn brats... I would just kick this Kiyomasa dude in the balls and it would be over."

Akkun sweat dropped, " I love your bravery and attitude but... It's not really necessary, Y/n. These guys don't go easy on anyone. Even girls. Pretty sure the whole Toman doesn't. I don't want you to get hurt. The world is full of some crazy bastards. That's why you mustn't get involved with the gangs. Stay away from all of them...You will get in trouble. But to prevent that, Mizo Mid Crew with its Cry Baby Hero are here!"

I smiled at his words. I'm so glad to have these guys as my friends. But it also hurts seeing them being injured almost every day...

We talked for a bit and then he went home since he had to prepare for school. Right, school.. I did my homework and went to bed, my warm precious bed..

...

"What? A math test??" i screamed internally, staring at the blank paper sheets. Right, i totally forgot about it, since all i had on my mind was how Takemichi and Akkun showed up at my house. I was about to start crying, when i felt someone poking my arm with a paper.

I turned around and saw Hina passing me the note.
I opened it and saw the answers, so I turned back and blew her a kiss. She just widely smiled at me, quietly chuckling.

Damn, Takemichi, why is it you who is her lover and not me?

"Finally school's over. Are you busy today, Hina?"  I asked a girl beside me, wanting to hang out with my best friend after a long time.

"Hm, let me think...Not really. Got any plans?"

"Let's hang out today!" I suggested, dragging her forward.

We headed to the nearest shopping mall, which was the biggest one in the district. We were trying on every clothing piece that would catch our attention. But in the end, i only bought a cute red miniskirt, while Hina got a nice yellow dress.

"Are you hungry? There's a cafe near us, let's go!" Hina smiled, taking my hand and leading me to the food court, raising her other hand to the sky and cheering.

We ordered some desserts: I sticked with a brownie, Hina chose a chocolate parfait.

Words can't describe how much i love this cafe.

We also discussed our upcoming finals, which made me a bit anxious, since everything related to studying makes me anxious. It was getting late, so we decide to go back home. I walked Hina to her house and waved her goodbye. It was past 8 already but i wasn't really scared. Wasnt... Or was i?

It's not like i never went home, when it was late. Or just felt off this time. I mean, there are a lot of gangs now, so you gotta stay safe just in case. I wouldn't want to bump into some delinquents and get beaten up by them. I had a pepper spray with me but i had to make sure. That's why i did one thing.

Starting tomorrow, i will be attending martial art classes.

And my teacher will be some old man.

What was his name again?

Sani?

Suna?

Sona?

Sana?

Sangwoo?

Sano?

I don't really remember, so i'll wait till he introduces himself first, since i feel like if i mispronounce his name or say the wrong one, he will smack the brains out of me.

I don't think he's going to be easy to bear with, but in the end i still have to learn how to fight so it doesn't matter, right?
