"Yes, i do. I really wanna talk about it," my lips curved in a sad smile. "But it's gonna be a long talk, hold on." I went to turn over the sign from "open" to "closed", locked the door and covered the biggest windows.
Me and Senju sat down, i brought some hot chocolate for us and i started my story. Even though i didn't know if i should trust this girl.
"Well... Shall i start from that i'm not from France?" I sadly chuckled. "I was obvious, wasn't I... Who would believe that... Deep inside i really hoped you guys might be suspecting me and boom—it would turn out that you're from Tokyo, somehow know me and we will live happily... But now i don't really think so..."
Senju's eyes widened and she awkwardly smiled, "Oh.. Um.. Actually.." I looked at her confused, her face showed embarrassment, as if i got straight to the point, as intended. "I will share my own thoughts with you right after you finish your story, okay?" She asked, looking right into my eyes.
The calm quiet music was clearing the air, as the atmosphere already got tense. There were only two of us in the cafe, the silence was pleasing. The moment when she asked me the last question caught me off guard. Her mesmerizing eyes, catching mine, were locked in this contact. I was obviously staring at her, no, observing and admiring her beauty. She slowly tilted her head, leisurely blinking with her long superb eyelashes.
"Sure. Then i'll begin," I spoke, shifting in the wooden chair. "I'm from Tokyo. My real name isn't Agreste, it's.. L/n," I looked away, avoiding her gaze.
"I'm not sure, if you know anything about gangs, but you've probably heard about them. For some reason i feel like you actually are from Japan, who knows if from Shibuya as well... But there's t-this gang," I stuttered, as memories with Toman flashed in my mind. Well no, my only memories were mostly with Mikey, Baji, Chifuyu and Takemichi.
"Tokyo Manji Gang." She whispered, which made me slightly shocked. "Continue," she demanded.
"How i met them? Right..," I bit my lower lip, "That day is forever in my mind.. I found a martial arts teacher. But who knew that his grandson was a president of Toman?" I grabbed my head, almost pulling out my hair. I felt a ton of emotions rush to me, as i kept dredging up past.
"We didn't like each other from the start. Me and.. him kept bickering over everything, no matter how hard his sister and friends tried to make us make up." I sighed, drawling circles on the table with my finger.
I stopped talking for some time, just to look outside. I noticed a lady throwing away the yellow flowers, that were probably given to her by her partner.. Or enemy.
"He saved me. A lot of times. Maybe i saved him too. After we talked about it together, we stopped being uh... enemies?" I nodded, sipping the hot chocolate, "We did have great time as friends. But not even a month later i got stabbed. I was in coma for two weeks, when i woke up, i heard that my close friend passed away," my lip was quivering,
"I still think it's my fault. Maybe if i died, he would still be alive?"
Akashi grabbed my hand, shaking it, murmuring something under her breath, yet i couldn't hear anything.
"Some time later we confessed our feelings, really spontaneously. We really loved each other. Then i learnt the truth about my family and on that same day i got kidnapped... By my lover's brother.. I wasn't really having luck at that time." I closed my eyes, trying to avoid tearing up again.
"He broke up with me," I opened them, looking at Senju with teary eyes. With eyes full of regret, misery and sadness. "I left Tokyo on the next day."
"I don't wanna go back. I'm scared," I was almost whispering, my voice gradually cracking, "What if he doesn't love me anymore?"
