Comparing the image to what you see in the mirror, you find yourself wondering who you actually are, and if you'll ever forget your real name and what you look like.
—————————————————————————
While still looking in the mirror, you decide to make yourself look presentable, mostly for your abuela. You take a few deep breaths in and out, and start walking, looking down at your sandals, towards the door of your room.

Opening the door, you see Mirabel standing there wearing her blue and white dress. She looks like she was just about to knock, you start thinking.

"What's with the long face? Everyone's waiting for you!" She announces while fixing her glasses.

"They are?" You reply, embarrassed for yourself in about a minute and a half from now.

You walk with your cousin down the stairs, and into the dining room as you notice everyone staring at the two of you. You find a spot to sit, next to Dolores and Antonio, exchanging half-smiles with each of them.

While grabbing food to put on your plate, you glance at Isabela. She locks eyes with you making you look away immediately. You start to try coming up with something to tease her about, you wonder if perhaps she has a little crush on someone like- *remembers Mariano is here.* You smirk.

"Where were you, Chameleon?" Your curious little brother asks, interrupting your thoughts. You wonder if he notices your slightly swollen eyes, or even your eye bags.

Your strong, older cousin Luisa joins the conversation, "Yeah. I was wondering that too."

You try thinking of an excuse, an excuse that'll make them hopefully laugh a little bit. After a few seconds of thought, you come up with the perfect little story.

"I was having a fashion show in my room!" You confess, waiting to hear someone start to giggle, and they did! Everyone except for abuela, as expected. She always wants things to be perfect in this family, and she's always the one telling me to be somebody else.

"Oh my goodness," your mom (Pepa) says as she shakes her head with a light smile on her face and a rainbow over her head.

Helping your mom's mood always made you feel better, especially when the two of you got into an argument. Her emotions affect the weather and whenever she's thundering, you and your dad (Felix) would always be the ones calming her down and making her skies clear.

But suddenly, cracks start to form in the ground by your feet and on the walls. What was happening?
