They all go silent, turning towards a boy with a mug full of coffee in his hands.

"Who's Bruno!?" A kid asks."He, he's my tio," you started to answer, "he could see the future, one day he disappeared."
"Can you tell us about him?" He leans closer.
"I barely remember anything about him," you lie.
They ran off, and you felt bad for not telling them anything. But, you had to keep a close eye on Cecelia until around noon, so you followed her instead.
"Hey, where are you going?" You ask.
"I'm just getting some water from mí casa."
"Can I come in with you?"
"Yeah, I have to show you something anyway."
"Ooo, what is it?"
You hear a loud rumble, Casita was breaking again, "Cecelia, we have to stay outside," you said as the sky started to turn gray.
She stood by you outside her house, and followed you walking towards Casita. What is happening?! You decide you test out your gift, making sure everything was alright with the candle. After a few moments of trying to decide who to shape shift into, you choose Mirabel. Mirabel? Why did I choose Mirabel? A bad memory from the night of Mirabel's gift ceremony floods your brain.

After Mirabel's Gift Ceremony:
Mirabel sighs as you sit down next to her, "Why didn't I get a gift? I just wanted to be special and make my family proud like abuela said."
"It's okay Mirabel, you don't have to have a gift to be special. In fact, I know the nicest, most special girl in the Encanto, and even most special in the whole wide world!" You said.
"Who's that?" She replies as she rubs her puffy eyes from crying so much.
"It's you, Mira!"
She smiles. You wipe the tears off of her cheeks with your tiny fingers as you hear your abuela walk in. The two of you jump, surprised. You knew you weren't supposed to be around your cousin because it may 'affect your gift.'
"Camilo, what are you doing in here, I thought I told you to stay away from Mirabel." Abuela points out.
"Sorry, abuela, I'm sorry," you apologize as she leads you towards the exit of the nursery. You look behind you to see Mirabel begin to slouch even more against the wall, which makes you slouch as well.
Once out of the room, your abuela whispers loudly, "How come you aren't listening well today? I told you to stay away from her!"
You hesitate to say anything, but the word "why?" comes out of your mouth.
"I've already told you, now go on, and STAY AWAY from Mirabel until I can talk to her."
You do as she says for the rest of the night, feeling the guilt that you couldn't go and help your favorite cousin.
