"Well, I guess we have to follow them, you coming?" She asks.

"Count me in, I guess," you begin to say, "But, I'm not the biggest fan of this idea, what would they lead us to?"

"I have to tell you something."
—————————————————————————
(Dolores tells you everything she's heard from Bruno the past ten years.)

"So you're telling me that you couldn't keep Bruno's vision a secret at dinner for ten minutes, and you could keep tio Bruno still living here a secret for ten years?!" You say with a surprising tone in your voice.

She doesn't respond at first, but then says, "Come into my room tonight at 11:00, I have to talk to you about something before we go find Mirabel and Antonio."

    "But I never agreed to-,"

    "Just do it scaredy-cat,"

    "I am NOT a scaredy-cat!"

"Then do it, or else I tell on you about something,"

   "What would you say?"

     "I haven't decided yet,"

"Fine," you agree. She crosses her arms and smiles, "If you stop smiling like that first."

You leave, shaking your head. I need to start winning arguments like that you think. You didn't want anything to do with Bruno. At night, whenever you were sneaking snacks, (you made it up to Dolores not to tell anyone) every now and then, you'd see a green-cloaked figure with a hood over his head. It all makes sense now, that's Bruno! He seemed so tall when you were little, but ever since abuela caught you up at 11pm a while ago, you haven't gotten a chance to see him anymore, but instead the rats.

Once you make it to your room, you avoid the mirror, and plop into your bed. The clock read 8:46pm, and remembering what Dolores said, you set an alarm for 11:00.

You try thinking of something to do until it's time to go find Mirabel and Antonio, but come up with nothing. After a few minutes of thought, you decide to get out a notebook and start writing out what you remembered of your tio Bruno:

-Really tall (probably seven feet)
-Rats on his back
-Papa said he sees your dreams
-Scary when he calls your name
-Likes snacks
-Gift: can see the future
-Disappeared one day

After finishing your notes, you looked at your clock, it was 8:55, you decided that you'd go to bed a lot earlier, since you didn't know what time you and Dolores would be up until, but it'd probably be late. You turned off your lights, went to your bed, and fell asleep almost immediately.
