Kyoya was tired, but judging by his apparent boundless energy Tamaki was not. Sometimes the darker haired boy wondered if his friend ever actually got tired, or slept for that manner. Maybe it was an issue of too much sleep, or too much sugar, that was the cause of his limitless energy. The cause of his excitement was clear, and something they had discussed in a club meeting earlier. Now that the club was "complete" with the twins (and now also Haruhi) the blond haired, purple eyed human puppy and "Host Club King" wanted to bring in some more interesting club themes, including those based in history.

Never one to skimp on details or have something be incorrect or flawed in any way shape or form Kyoya had suggested they go to the schools library to do some research.

That was a mistake.

So there they were, turning heads and making more noise then necessary in the already noisy library. The space was louder then expected, for what it was, and reminded Kyoya of why he never studied at school and always took his work home. It was impossible to get anything done within the club, even on a slow day, and was even more impossible to get anything done in the library when surrounded by other students who clearly had no clue what the purpose of a library truly was and were only there to kill time or meet up with friends away from the prying eyes of most teachers or those who might tattle their secrets to their families.

Kyoya rolled his eyes when one of the girls who had been watching them since they came in, finally walked up to Tamaki with a squeal in her tone and a bounce in her step. She was one of the "Host Club King's" regulars and had been from the start. Kyoya was aware of all of the eyes on them, and wasn't at all surprised when someone finally approached them. Tamaki was flirting as per usual, however Kyoya noticed with a smirk that he needn't worry about wasting precious time. Tamaki had picked up on a few of his friends manipulation tricks over the years he had known him and had complete control of the situation.

"Whilst it has been a delight speaking to you, Princess, Kyoya and I are here on secret host club buissness," Tamaki smiled brightly, an arm entwining with the girls

"Of course, Tamaki!" The girl squealed excitedly "How can I help?"

"Would you, perhaps, know where we could find the history section?" Tamaki asked "A girl as studious as you, spending all her time in the library, surely knows where we may find it."

"Of course!" The girl blushed at the compliment

Kyoya had watched as he spoke to the girl long enough to catch her full attention and then hold said attention for what they really needed. Almost every move was calculated and despite his facade Kyoya knew that his friend wasn't an idiot, though that fact did surprise him each time he caught it. The girl giggled in response and began pulling Tamaki towards the back of the library. Kyoya followed, mentally cataloguing each section as they passed it in case it was needed for some other ridiculous idea of Tamaki's. In the blondes mind no request was to large, and Kyoya was often left trying to pick up the pieces and make it happen or explain why it can't.

Eventually the trio reached the furthermost corner of the library, and Kyoya took a deep breath at how quiet it had become compared to the rest of the room. He began scanning the shelves as the girl wandered off back to her friends, pointing out and discussing possibilities with Tamaki but not quite finding what they needed at that moment. He was unaware of the girl that occupied the previously thought to be deserted corner with them until she spoke up.

"Excuse me?" She called, standing up from where she had been curled up on the floor in the corner with a book of her own "Is there something I could help you find? I know this section like the back of my hand."

Tamaki jumped right in, sending her a bright smile and turning to her despite jumping and almost letting out a shriek just moments ago. Kyoya on the other hand took a second to look the girl over to try and figure out who exactly she was and why she had hidden herself away. He wanted to know what her motives were. She didn't seem to be a fan or one of the girls that attended the host club, yet she seemed oddly familiar.
