Y/N POV
Fuck fuck fuck.
It was the first free weekend I had found to myself in a while. I was not requested for any host club activities, I had no orders to fill and I had all but completed my work for Mrs Hitachiin. In two weeks she would be unveiling the gowns at a Halloween themed fashion show, despite it still being a few months away. I had been working on costume orders for weeks now, but was finally on top of it.

I just needed a break.

I had just returned from the abandoned art room after dropping off some supplies that I had borrowed to work on a piece I had been designing for myself. Not long after I had slipped my shoes off and flipped down on my bed came a knock at the room to my dorm.

Now, Ouran dorms were a lot bigger then most schools, and for the most part they could be rather lavish. My dorm was more like a fancy apartment, with two bedrooms, a study, a small bathroom with enough space for a shower and a tub, and an open plan kitchen/living/dining area.

Most of the rooms were kept relatively neat, however my "study" and bedroom were almost always in some form of disarray. All I wanted to do was sleep, maybe read or catch up on some anime but nope. The knock sounded again.

Groaning I stood up and trudged my way over to the door. If it was Mitsuo he would have just let himself in with the spare key, and if it was a teacher then I would have been informed beforehand. No one else knew where I lived, so I was incredibly confused as to who could be at the door.

Finally, I swung the offending object open, immediately groaning at the sight that stood before me. All 7 members of the host club stood on my doorstep in various moods. Honey looked excited as he sat upon Mori's shoulders, who looked stoic as always. The twins were leaned against the door frame, one on either side and both sporting matching grins with one fist raised each. Tamaki looked overly excited as he clung to a less then impressed Haruhi who shot me a sympathetic look when we made eye contact. I sighed and turned around, gesturing for them to come in but not before catching Kyoya's eye. His usually downturned lips were curled into a smirk and he had this smug, victorious twinkle to his eye. He had won this round, and he knew it.

I leaned on the door as I closed it behind everyone, observing them as they all made themselves comfy in various seats. Some crashed on the couch, others chose the beanbags I had. Mori, ever the respectful one, sat himself down at the table as Honey jumped off his shoulder and ran towards the kitchen cabinets.

"So..." I began "What the hell are you guys doin here? How do you even know where I live?"

"You agreed to let us come over for club bonding," Kyoya reminded me, and I had to force myself not to scowl at the smugness in his voice "As for your address, Mitsuo informed me of it when we last spoke."

That traitor.

I clenched one of my fists and took a deep breath in, trying to calm myself down. I counted backwards from 100 and by the time I had hit 78 I felt calm enough to begin to walk towards the group. Mitsuo and I would certainly be having words in class on Monday.

"Okay," I sighed "Just don't go into either of the bedrooms or the study. Any of you try and you're all getting kicked out."

Everyone nodded in understanding, their eyes wide. I hadn't threatened any of them before, and they all seemed rather shocked. Everyone except for Mori and Haruhi, who both just calmly nodded. In fact, Haruhi looked more guilty then anything, so I smiled at her as if to say it was okay. She wasn't at fault here, Kyoya was.

"Y/n-chan, you wouldn't really kick us out, would you?" Asked Honey as he walked up to me, his eyes growing wider as he gripped the hem of my shirt and looked up at me

I smiled down at the shorter boy and picked him up to balance him on my hip. I could never be mad at Honey with how cute he was.

"Well, it all depends on if anyone disobeys my rules, Honey-Senpai," I smiled, ruffling his hair and beginning to walk to the kitchen "I bought some cake earlier, would you like some?"

Honey nodded with a big grin and I began to pull it out of the fridge. I set it on the kitchen island as I dug around for plates and forks. As I was doing so, Haruhi came over and we started to converse. As I set up portions of cake for everyone she set about making tea and lightening my load.

"I'm so sorry for them, Y/n," she sighed, rolling her eyes as I directed her on where to find cups "They did this to me a little while ago. If you want me to help kick them out I can."

"It's fine, Haruhi, I'm just a little annoyed is all," I sighed "I just... needed some time to decompress. I've been overworking myself lately."

Haruhi nodded in understanding and helped call everyone to the kitchen for tea and cake. Honey, Kyoya, Tamaki, and the twins joined Mori at the kitchen table while Haruhi and I sat on barstools by the kitchen island. They sure were a rowdy bunch, already joking and arguing amongst each other. Just as I had thought, none of them had known about the school having any sort of dorm system in place. What ensued after that was a lengthy explanation about how technically speaking I was the first person to stay in the dorms in years, because usually if a rich family wanted their children to attend here and they didn't live close enough, they would simply buy another property.

"Y/n why do you live in the dorms in the first place?" Kaoru asked

"Do your family live in another providence?" Hikaru tacked on

"Not quite," I said with a sigh, taking one last sip of my tea and mulling over what exactly I could tell them "I'm a scholarship student as you probably know. Unlike Haruhi who got in because of her test scores, I'm here on an art scholarship. My parents are actually from (country) but I... don't exactly have the best relationship with them."

"And why not?" Kyoya implored, scribbling who knows what in that little black notebook of his

"Did someone hurt my poor daughter?!" Tamaki exclaimed "What did they do to you!"

"You don't wanna know," I said with an eye roll, forgetting who I was with for a moment "Let's just say... there's a reason I'm here and not over there with them. The school knows what happened, and helps by providing me with a monthly allowance."

Well, that was sort of true. The school allowed me to work, unlike many of the other students, and that was how I earned my keep. I donated back to the school and various club fundraisers when I could, despite the principle often telling me I didn't need to. I felt almost obligated to, after everything they had done to help me. My sole income was the work I did as F/n (fake name) but I managed to make more then enough to keep myself afloat. In fact, I'm fairly certain I was making enough to almost be in the same tax bracket as most of my peers parents.

Most of the club were curious, and they kept trying to shoot questions at me. I answered what I could whilst still trying to remain as mysterious as I could, and also still hide the other part of my identity. In the end I ended up teaching them all (minus Haruhi) how to play several "commoner" board and card games. It was almost dark by the time everyone left, the sunset sending red, yellow and pink light in through the large windows.

As soon as the majority of the club had dissapeared I flipped down onto my back on the couch, starfishing and spreading all my limbs and body out. Haruhi had stayed back to help me clean up and flopped down on the floor in front of the couch.

"Why don't you just call your dad and ask to stay the night?" I suggested "It is only Sunday tomorrow, and I'm sure we both had homework we need to do. We can study here or use the library."

"Isn't the library locked on the weekends though?" Haruhi asked, already pulling out her phone to text her father

"Yessssss," I began in an almost sing song tone "Buuuuuut I have a copy of the master key. I have full access to the library, pool, all the classrooms and music rooms... even the gym and theatre."

Haruhi turned their head to look me in the eyes, a slightly shocked look on her face. When we got the confirmation that she could stay the night I showed her to the guest bedroom, explaining where the bathroom and everything was. I knew that of all the members of the host club, if Haruhi saw anything she wouldn't say anything to the others about it. In fact, I trusted her almost as much as I trusted Mitsuo and I didn't know her nearly as well as I knew him.

This was going to be a fun night.
