All About Frances -Frances is French-American and Jewish -She is fluent in four languages. English, French, German, and Italian -She speaks English with a hint of a French accent, since she moved to France when she was little. Later however, she develops a Tennessee accent like Aldo's due to how long she's been around him -Her family was murdered by SS Colonel Hans Landa. She managed to escape and was the only survivor -Frances moved to Boston, Massachusetts to stay with relatives, where she remained for two months before moving back to France -She learned German during her stay in Boston -Frances took matters into her own hands and murdered many Gestapo officers in numerous ways -She was deemed the nickname "the Shadow," since she killed the officers either quickly or without anyone suspecting. She would escape the scene and nobody would know it was her. Nobody knows what the Shadow looks like -Frances learned German to listen in on conversations of Gestapo officers -When she first met the Basterds, Lt. Aldo Raine didn't believe she was the Shadow until she provided proof -She wanted to be recruited by the Basterds and eventually was -Frances is one of the best in the Basterds -Her ultimate dream is getting revenge on Colonel Hans Landa for what he did to her family
