So this chapter is going to skip quite a bit of time, only because it's Lexi growing up, but there's going to be a few stages of her development and growing in this chapter, there's a picture of her at 5 months :) so enjoy and vote and comment. :)

1 month later:

Elena's P.O.V

I was at Caroline's and Stefan's place with Damon babysitting baby Lexi while Stefan and Caroline brought a few bits for their daughter. "Aw, Damon look. Her eyes are gorgeous, they're big and round and green. And she's smiling look." I tickled her belly and watched as Lexi smiled and squeals.

"She gets that from me."

"Damon, ssh, you have not got green eyes, that was obviously from Stefan."

"Same bloodline Elena." I smiled and kissed Damon. "Lemme put her to sleep," Damon started, he picked up Lexi and kissed her forehead, "it's nap time isn't it cutie." He took Lexi over to the sofa and sat down, I handed him a warm bottle of milk and he put the teet to Lexi's mouth, she opened and allowed the bottle to enter.

Within 20 minutes the milk was finished and Damon had a sleeping baby in his arms. "She's adorable." Damon agreed and put Lexi in her crib.

4 months later:

Caroline's P.O.V

"She's trying to sit up, bless her." Me and Stefan had set out cushions and blankets on the floor and allowed Lexi to roll around. And assisted her as she tried to sit herself up and crawl. "Lexi," I called. "Lexi. Come to mummy." She lay on her belly and looked up at me.

"Look at her eyes, they're so big and round."

"She's beautiful." Stefan added, I agreed and picked up my daughter. At that moment Lexi began to cry, I rocked her in my arms, tried to feed her, changed her nappy and she still cried. I handed her to Stefan and he tried, but nothing was working. "She's teething, babe." Stefan said, I looked at him disbelievingly.

"At 5 months?"

"Yeah, I read about it in this book for new parents," I smiled at the fact Stefan was so committed to being a father, and I need to read that book, I thought, "yeah, a babies first teeth cut through at 4 to 6 months, this can't be anything else."

"Okay. What do we do to help?"

"Give her stuff to bit down on, there are creams that can be used." I nodded and took Lexi. "Let's go online and find some of that stuff."

A few days later and we'd managed to help Lexi through her first teething stage. And shortly after her first tooth came through her gum. "Ah, Stefan. Look!"

"What?"

"You can see her tooth, the bottom left look." And as Stefan went to look Lexi smiled and so did we. "And look," I put Lexi on the bed, sitting her up. I then let go, "she can sit up by herself."

"Good girl Lex." Stefan called and picked up Lexi, our daughter still smiling. "I'm going to take her to Damon's and Elena's, want to come?"

"Sure."

1 month later:

Stefan's P.O.V

I was watching Lexi while Caroline was out with Elena and Bonnie. Damon had also come over to help. "Hey brother, come over here and help." Damon walked over to the sofa and sat down.

"Where's my munchkin. Stefan, I want to see my niece."

"She's in her crib, you can go get her." Damon nodded and got up, walking over to Lexi's crib and picking up the baby.

"There you are precious."

"Put her down, we can try teach her to crawl."

Three hours later and Caroline came home with numerous shopping bags and Elena and Bonnie. "Hey Caroline, guess what?" I asked.
