Elena's P.O.V

Yesterday's news shocked me and I couldn't even tell them about it. That's the worst of this all. They deserve to know.

I found Damon sitting in his car. I jumped in the passenger seat and placed my hand on his lap. "You okay?"

"Yeah."

"Why are you in your car?"

"Caroline and my brother need to know Elena."

"I know, but give it time, there's still a few more months." Damon nodded. "C'mere." I put my hands on his cheeks and pulled his face closer to mine. "I love you."

"I love you too." We kissed and ended up making out before driving over to Caroline's house.

Caroline's P.O.V

"Elena!" I hugged my best friend and smiled at Damon who was behind her.

"Hello Barbie."

"Damon."

"Where's Stefan?"

"He's upstairs showering, he'll be down soon. How are you guys?"

"We're good, how are you?"

"Hungry, haven't had blood today so I'm tired and yeah."

"I'm sorry Cara. It'll be over soon." I smiled. Of course it'll be over soon.

"It's stressful. We still haven't figured out any names. Its crazy, it's taking too long."

"I still think Damon Jr. Is adequate."

"Damon, if this baby is a girl, it's not being called Damon Jr."

"So what you're saying blondie is that if it's a boy, it'll be called Damon Jr." I laughed and shook my head.

"Absolutely not."

Stefan came downstairs ten minutes later with a smile across his face. "Hi baby."

"Hello beautiful." Stefan sat on the sofa and my legs placed over his.

"How are you brother?"

"I'm good, Damon, you?"

"Just fine.

"Why are you here?"

"We have something to tell you guys." Me and Stefan looked at each other then back at the two in front of us.

"What is it?" I asked, concerned obviously.

The pause was unsettling, the pause was too long. We all sat in silence. "Damon!" At my words the front door flew open and in stepped Bonnie. "What the hell is going on?"

"Damon, Elena. Don't. I told you I'm working on it."

"Working on what?" I asked, my patience being lost fast.

"Answer her Bonnie." Stefan inputted. Bonnie turned to look at us, then at Damon and Elena.

"We'd better go."

"Bonnie!" I screamed.

Elena's P.O.V

"Bonnie they need to know!" I said once back at the boarding house after an awkward car ride.

"I said I'm working on it, they don't need to know."

"Bonnie what's gotten into you lately, this is Caroline. Our best friend."

"Elena she doesn't need to know and neither does Stefan, end of." Bonnie walked away and left me and Damon alone.

"We need to Damon."

"I know, but let's give Bonnie a chance first. We'll give it a month. Okay?"

"Okay."
