Caroline's P.O.V

Stefan placed Lexi onto the ground, on her hands and knees. At first she fell, she actually fell a couple times and she fell some more, but eventually she hoisted herself up, onto her hands and knees and with slow pace made her way toward me, Elena and Bonnie. I knelt down and encouraged her to continue till she was in my arms. "C'mon baby!" She smiled, picking up her pace a bit and before I knew it she'd crawled into my outstretched arms.

"Well done baby!" I kissed my daughters forehead and picked her up. "Did you teach her that, Stefan?"

"Yep, I think I'm handling being a father quite well." I smiled.

"More then we'll Stefan," Elena said, "nobody would know this was your first time being a dad." Stefan nodded.

"Thanks Elena."

"So," I walked over to Stefan, he smiled as I did. I nestled myself into his warm body as he wrapped his arms around me and Lexi, "I love you Stefan."

"I love you too Caroline."

5 and a half months later:

Stefan's P.O.V:

I called Caroline who was spending time at her mum's grave. I always let her, it gives her comfort. "Hey you, just calling to check up, also baby bear misses you. She's saying mamma."

"Bless, I'll be leaving in a bit, just got to sort out something first. Tell Bear I miss her loads, and I love you so much. See you soon."

"Love you too."

Caroline's P.O.V:

I locked my phone and slid it into my pocket. My eyes fixed to the ones opposite me. We stared into each other's eyes, hardly blinking. He opened his mouth to speak before I cut him off.

"What do you want Klaus?"

Sorry this is a short chapter, wanted it to end this way for suspense xxx

Next one we'll be longer :) also Lexi at the end of this chapter is 11 and a half months. The next chapters to come will be about her growing up a bit more...

Also Baby Bear/ Bear is Lexi, came up with a nickname. I need nicknames for Stefan and Caroline to give to each other, so if you have any ideas please comment your suggestions :)
