Caroline's P.O.V.

"Caroline!" I heard a female voice call my name. I looked around me, as did Klaus but we couldn't find anyone, it remained silent for the next few moments before the voice came again.
"Caroline! Help!" I looked around again, this time more eagerly, why were they saying help?
"Klaus, who is that?"
"I don't know, let's go find out." We walked around the graveyard constantly yelling back at the voice. "Hello?" Klaus called, there was no response.
"Why not we look-"
"Mummy!"
"Oh my gosh, Lexi? That's impossible what's going on?" I heard my own voice shaking, how could Lexi be calling me, she's not even one yet, she couldn't.
"It's not Lexi. Someone's messing with our heads and I have an idea who."
"Who? Who is it?"
"Liv and Luke." I looked directly into Klaus' eyes.
"Why?"
"They want the spell book too, it belongs to their coven." I looked at Klaus as he spoke, not believing the words that came out.

Stefan's P.O.V.

"Hello? Caroline?"
"Hey Stefan, I'm okay, I'll be home soon."
"Where have you been? I've been worried and Lexi-"
"I know, I... I don't know. I'm sorry." I could hear her voice shaking, which broke my heart.
"Look, take the time you need, as long as you're okay."
"Yeah, bye Stefan." She hung up before I could get any words out, I held Lexi and she cried, probably missing her mother. I bounced her in my arms which did seem to calm her down a little, how is this happening when her birthday is tomorrow. Damn Caroline. Don't do this right now.

"Daaaa," Lexi squealed I smiled and put her back in her car seat, about to drive to the graveyard, I don't know why I didn't go there first. I shrugged the thought off and drive there straight away.

Caroline's P.O.V.

I stared at Klaus for a good while, still in shock. "Are you actually crazy!"
"Listen, it isn't as bad as it seems."
"Oh really! What have you gotten me into Klaus." He looked over at me, maybe putting the blame on him wasn't the best idea. Wait what am I talking about, this is all his fault, if he didn't ask me for this book in the first place. "I should go, you only seem to be making me more mad. Liv and Luke are the same."

"Don't leave goddamn it Caroline. They'll only mess with your head more."

"Let them, but my daughters birthday is tomorrow and I'm faffing about here with you." His eyebrows raised and I just stared. "Don't look at me like that Klaus." As the words left my mouth the sound of leaves crunching got louder and out from the bushes emerged the twins, Tyler's new girlfriend Liv and her equally annoying brother Luke.

"Give us the book back!"

"We don't have it. When we do it'll be given back." I said, regretting it as Klaus looked at me with a killer stare. "Bonnie will give it to me, but not you. Remember that." I reminded them, they looked at each other and nodded.

"Fine." And with that they left.

"That book is mine love." Klaus said. I chuckled and again he shot me a death stare.

"What? What could you use that book for?"

"That's none of your concern, love." He said before exiting the graveyard.
