KYSON's POV

"Do you have an understanding of what you need to do? I nodded my head in confusion and muttered a 'yes' to the caller, failing to understand why this needed to be done.

"Go put the plan in action and make sure no one finds out." He said and I nodded my head and hung up the phone before heading back to my room.

As I was about to enter my room, I stopped when my gaze fell at my little sister's room.

Despite the fact that we lost everything she owned in the explosion at our previous mansion, we still kept a room in our hidden safehouse just for her.

We tried to copy it down to the last detail, but it still lacked the essence of my sister, the one I could feel through her possessions and now I've lost everything of hers.

I lost two of my best friends–

How can I ever learn to move on from the pain of their loss. They didn't deserve it, they were supposed to live long enough to outlive us, but they went... left us way too soon.

Not able to look at the door any longer, I turned around, entered my room and began packing my stuff.

My eyes looked at the sweater, which Arabella had always stolen from my wardrobe to wear. My trembling hands reached for it as tears welled up in my eyes.

Feeling as if the sweater was burning my hands, I angrily pushed it into my duffle bag, not wanting to go through the pain again, that was beginning to devour me slowly.

I looked at the family picture, and sighed helplessly before stuffing it in my bag with the rest of my possessions.

I don't know why I am supposed to do this, but I didn't want to question.

If this plan warrants me to get away from here, then I am willing to do it, but what I didn't want to do was hurt my twin, the only person in the world who knows me better than anyone else, he could see me transparent and bringing this plan to action will undoubtedly be difficult.

But, as he had put it, it had to be done.

I don't know why, but I don't have much of a choice or say in this situation.

I had to do what I'm told–

So, with that in my mind, I picked my duffle bag and walked out of my room, mentally preparing myself for what was about to happen.

As I walked into the living room, I came across Mason, Noah, Gianni, Giovanni, Dominic, Elijah and Vincenzo. The older ones were discussing something with the younger ones.

As soon as they heard my footsteps descending the stairs, their gazes were drawn to me, and almost instantaneously, their eyes glanced at the bag in my hand then back at me in question and confusion.

I didn't say anything to any one of them and instead turned to leave towards the direction of the entrance of the house, ignoring the calls for me by my brothers.

"I SAID STOP–" Vincenzo said angrily as he yanked my arm and turned me around before pulling me back to the living room, where both of my uncles had also joined along with Alexander and Dante.

"What the fuck is going on here?" Alexander inquired, his gaze shifted from Vincenzo to me and my bag before locking on my eyes.

"Ask this little arrogant fuck." Vincenzo said glaring at me, and I glared back, making his expressions turn even more dangerous.
